Can Chizm win more than 3 games this year?

He has better talent than at ISU.....but he is playing against much much better competition here in the SEC.

I agree. I think 7 wins is pretty possible. Most books in vegas have the over under 7.5 which I basically agree with.

Both programs go undefeated in next 5 years as LSU and Alabama fail to win a game having to forfeit to each other, due to Saban/Miles coming to blows before the game.

FWIW, I'm just procrastinating this final paper I have due tomorrow.

I figure Auby will be good for 6-7 wins this year.

Auburn is going to lose to coach Dooley and La. Tech right out of the gate and that is when the wheels will fall off. The fans will go ape shite crazy when that happens and it will be epic.

Petrino has already shown that he can go into anyone's backyard and get any player that he wants.

The fact is that on average each SEC team signs 1/3 of it's recruits from in state each year and the rest come from out of state. Cheeze Nips will NOT be stealing very many of the top 8 recruits in Alabama while Satan is at Bama. That's a fact yall need to accept. Now if you want to argue that 9-17 in Alabama are better than 1-8 in Arkansas, be my guest, but I disagree. Outside their home states I have no idea how you think Auburn has more fertile recruiting grounds than Arkansas. Texas is a traditional source of recruits for Arkansas and they have FAR more SEC caliber players then any state contiguous to Alabama. Even when one considers that Texas and Oklahoma will generally take the top kids.

Plus your theory assumes that the coaches themselves play no role, and that obviously isn't the case. Look at a school like USC for example, for the 5 years prior to Carroll they were horrible? Why they had access to the same level of recruits as they did when he arrived? Oh that's right, b/c coaches DO matter.

As for money, under the OLD regime we were one of the cheapest schools in the SEC when it came to recruiting, but Petrino takes it MUCH more seriously than Nutt ever did, and Long will pony up the money that he demands to get the job done right; but I don't think they are over at the BAC worried about whether they're keeping up with Auburn int he spending dep't.

And finally , we have this. from 1999-2007 Auburn had the clear advantage over Arkansas in terms of spending, coaching , and recruiting. How did that work out for yall? Oh yeah you went 5-5 against us. So how do you think that's going to play out now that we have FAR superior coaching, equal or better recruiting, and a willingness to spend as much money as Auburn.

So some ranking from 5 years back are going to insure that AU is better than U of A for the next 5? Following your argument since the rankings close to near in 08 then you would beat us the last 3 years easily and stomp us for the next 2.

I'm not buying your logic here seeing as how we beat you 2 of the last 3 with less talent and HDN as a coach.

And please don't count your chickens before they hatch none of us know how recruiting will end this year for either school but a tone will be set regardless depending upon the season see you in Fayetteville.

I'd pay to see this. Wait a tick...

There's Saban going for the takedown! Miles seems overly amused...

It's about time we had a Arkansas and Auburn rivalry.
