Iowa State also went 4-8 or something like that the year before Chizik arrived. They obviously had problems before Chizik's arrival

So your saying that the previous ISU coach is twice as good as Chizik?

Seeing as he won 4 games that year compared to 5 in two years.

Sounds like Chizik was the nail in the coffin

So you are saying Iowa State is doomed no matter what the coach is?
That is exactly what I am saying. Iowa State will usually suck no matter who their coach is, just like Ole Miss

not saying they didn't,just pointing out that Chizik did nothing to improve them while he was there...

Not really a very in-depth analysis by you there. You need to refer to Ross's post last week to educate yourself a bit more then come back.

So you are agreeing that the previous ISU coach is better based on his record?

Who exactly did he even beat at ISU?

Anyone who plays Deliverance on the jumbotron does not have a good future.

Still you'd expect him to at least make some improvements and not leave the program worse off than he found it

Wait.......Was Cheezy out recruiting for Auburn before being hired? Then void last year's results as far as heads up Nips vs Petrino, cuz it didn't happen. As for Scout's ratings. LOL Scout ? Seriously? Rivals has Arkansas at 16, Auburn at 19 in 2009. As for 2010.........You're kidding right, it's 7 months until signing day, do you REALLY think that those 6 kids are all that Arkansas will sign and that Petrino will have the 49th best class in the nation even though he's NEVER done that poorly in recruiting even in his first two years at UL? Do you really think that the quality players are going to be flocking to Cheeze Nipples after this years 6 win season that is capped off by a loss in the Independence Bowl to Tulane? Come on now. Get your head out of the clouds. Auburn fricked up by firing Tuberville and now they're paying for it.

Weak hog. You did little to support your arguement there or refute hardly anything I said. Try to do better. If you can, I will respond. Of course since I already know you have nothing to stand on, you should probably just shut the frick up now before you get embarrassed.

Iowa State actually almost went to the Big 12 Championship game in 2005. Not that it's relevant

GTFO of here with your damned facts. They don't help the Barner's arguments.

The previous coach got to the level of winning six or seven games after he had been at Iowa State for 7 or 8 years. However, his record during his first two years was almost identical to Chizik's.

Dan McCartney was the head coach at Iowa State before Chizik. He went 5-17 during his first two years at Iowa State. Chizik went 5- 19 during his first two years

The ONLY reason Dyer is considering Auburn over Arkansas is because we currently have the most depth at RB in the SEC. He's looking at the reality of sitting behind guys like Curtis, Green, Davis, Johnson, oh and a guy named Ronnie WIngo; and thinking maybe he'd like to look at his options of having some PT.

Now tell me again how much more talent Auburn has than Arkansas.

and he'll probably still end up being a Hog; but if he ends up being a guy that likes to start fights and play dirty or a guy who turns out to be vastly over rated like the last two guys you "stole" from Arkansas, yall can have him.

Like you ever do? You haven't come back with any responses to support your arguments.

I guess you should call him a hogfricker, or call me a goatfricker, because that's the only response your dumbass can make.

Tell us again how Auburn has integrity, PussyinMiami.

You can try to bullshite your way through, but until you can actually argue your point, then just don't reply, like you are to good or something. QUIT ACTING LIKE A LITTLE BITCH AND GET SOME BACKBONE, LIKE YOU SAY!

I think that we can agree on throwing coaching tenure at ISU out of the window.

So now we are talking about a first year Head Coach in the SEC that's previous best job was a Defensive Coordinator?

Yea.....that's a recipe for success.

auburn will bring in better players b/c they have alot better recruiting base. Even if Saban cherry picks the state Aub still should get some nice leftovers from GA, FL and a few from AL. Arkansas doesn't have that luxury although they might outcoach Auburn the next few years. Who knows what that means but by 2010 I don't expect Ark to win that game on the road.

Come on, be easy on the Auburn fan. I mean his school just made the worst hire in the history of college football while at the same time Arkansas hit a grand slam. Little feller is bound to be jealous.

Alright dumbass...

2009:
AU - 13/14. Arky 20.

2008: AU 18. Arky 24.

2007: AU 6 Arky 34.

2006: AU 9 Arky 30

2005: AU 22 Arky 32

Well, that about covers every player currently on either roster. AU avg - 13.6, Arky 28.

This year, sitting at #20 for AU and #49 for Arky.

Are you starting to get the picture? AU has more talent than Arky to answer your retarded question. How fricking stupid are you?
