We had (still have) issues guarding the middle of the field against really good tight ends/backs (which is why Florida is scary for us) with our linebackers.
Hopefully we can get better pass pro against y’all and utilize our freak freshman Gilbert over the middle. If you ask me, we have not used him enough for how much of a freak he is.
Not that it will matter, but for pride sakes I hope we can string together some drives.
Y’all are having a LSU 2019 type season and at this point all you can do is tip your cap.
Hopefully our DBs can play like they did against A&M to make it interesting. I still think Najee is gonna run all over us though. I also think we’ll have the best set of CBs y’all play all year.

It's incredible how big, fast and nimble he is. He definitely lost the most when Brennan went down. The freshmen seem to have trouble finding him but Brennan knew exactly where he was.

I'm just waiting for stats really. The crux of your argument is that you think that if Trask and Jones switched teams, then Trask would be unequivocally better than Jones. The OP gave you PFF grades that said that regardless of the talent surrounding them, Jones ever so slightly throws the ball with more accuracy. You said PFF grades are bullshite (despite using them to support the notion that Jones has more talent around him), and now are saying that you have been giving me actual reasons to believe that Trask is better than Jones the entire time and that I should believe you because you played the position.

Trask should have been clearly better due to getting to face many more backups. He wasn’t.

You know the stats. Like normal though, stats never tell the whole story. You would have to have the same situation for that. Alabama’s situation is significantly better from the defense to the oline, to the running game. They are a better team and QB being the bread winner isn’t necessary. It is for Trask that’s my argument. PFF’s grades are flawed. There system for grading QB’s is absolutely ludicrous. I’m not sure what more you want from me.

He’ll throw for 350 and 4 tds and lose because his team is worse. While Najee is running for 200+ and they give the heisman to Mac. I can see it now.
You’ve seen a different future than me... the one I saw had Trask looking a lot more like Gino in the Sugar Bowl, but errythang else you said is spot on.

You haven’t watched many Trask games then. He has yet to have a bad game in the Orange and Blue. No defense has figured out how to stop him. If you do you’ll be the first and I’ll give credit where it’s due, but I wouldn’t count on it. He is going to look more like Chad Kelly against Bama under Freeze. Our defense will be what loses us the game.

So you just agree to disagree? You keep asking me what I need to be convinced of your point then you dodge what I ask for. "You know the stats". Really?
In the end it doesn't really matter because we both know what's gonna happen in Atlanta

Sweet Baby Jesus boX... would you please use the words he wants you to?

Sure it’s not going to affect my life one way or the other, but when one goes on to be a NFL pro bowler and Mac Jones can barely make a practice squad, you’ll look back and go damn that guy on SEC rant was completely right. That’s okay with me.

One Problem. You played Kellen Mond who was awful and couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. We have Jones. Its going to be a rough day for you guys.

You laugh now, everyone was laughing when I said Trask would be a Heisman finalist in July too. You won’t be laughing when it happens. You guys have no idea how much Kyle Trask covers up. We would be a 5 win team without him at best.

If you're trying to convince us that Trask doesn't have as many weapons (talent/help) to throw it to as Mac I have to say you look pretty foolish.
Mac's top 5 WRs/TEs
Smith (4*, 0.9717)
Metchie (4*, 0.9043)
Bolden (3*, 0.8796)
Forristall (3*, 0.8822)
Billingsley (4*, 0.8998)
AVG - 0.9075
Trask's top 5 WRs/TEs
Toney (3*, 0.8790)
Pitts (4*, 0.9334)
Grimes (4*, 0.9806)
Copeland (4*, 0.9651)
Shorter (5*, 0.9962)
AVG - 0.9508
Trask probably won't win the heisman, but it's not because he doesn't have any studs to throw it to. He's a good QB, but Mac is outplaying him and that's ok. Take a breath son.

This is unequivocally false. It’s okay though, you guys don’t want to know the truth. Mac is your guy I get it.
