agreed- a 59 yr old Tubby Smith is not remotely close to a "home run" hire. All this says is "we had to hire this guy because 6-7 others laughed at us when we called them"

Tubby is solid, and yes, he is way better than Rick Standsbury, but not close to the bigtime hire that was touted around here the last month

Stl. paper is saying Mizzou's AD would be wise to start creating a short list to replace Anderson.

I believe that IF Arkansas hired Anderson, the school could sell tickets to the press conference and draw more fans than Pel ball drew in any game in the last 2 years.

yes- I do not want a 60 year old coach coming to our school to draw a check for 5 years and retire
