It didn't say I wanted one over the other. Just said it looks like Pressey would follow him. Hell he may not. We'll see.
We will get Otto Porter out of this though.
Young said when we fired Pel he wants to play for a up tempo coach, so yea.

Across the board, I would say yes. Now, we have to pay for them.

Wow, just imagine if Ark had promoted Mike instead of hiring Stan Heath.

This may surprise some of you but:
I am well pleased with this hire.

Not so fast Gump, Mike was an unknown at that time. I am convinced that Mike actually became a better coach by going to UAB. Mike might have been ground up if he'd stayed at Arkansas as Nolan's successor. It was better for the program for him to leave, and more importantly it was the better move for him.

Dude was well-developed in his coaching repertoire by then, Ark even went on a run when he took over. That's 9 years down the drain while ark was chasing waterfalls.

I actually agree with this. Should have hired him or Self.

Self is the only correct answer at that time.
I am convinced if we had hired Mike after Nolan he would have been fired by now. None of us will ever know if this is true or not, just my intuition.

He went 1-1 in the SEC tourney in 2002 as interim. Those were his first two games as a head coach. He might have worked out then. We'll never know. But I think he needed seasoning at a lower level first.

Dudley says he exchanged texts with Arkansas signee BJ Young, who said he's excited about the imminent Mike Anderson hire.

maybe we should have stuck to the rivers and the lakes that we're used to. (too old?)
