you have to be kidding if you guys think your getting Howland. I guess Arkansas is a better program than UCLA?
been reported that he isn't happy at UCLA was in negotiations last year with another school so this could be his chance to jump to a school with some prestige and get out of UCLA.

Why do we have to keep explaining to you the difference between what "we think" vs. the reports of a coach inquiring about the position? Which has been the case with many names including Howland...

We miss MA, we get Marshall, no worries. He's already called and basically said he could be in Fayetteville the day after his season is over.
woo, I have to disagree here. I seriously doubt he said this and if he did then he would have already been announced as coach. I see a lot of posturing going on around here. To the extent of somepeople saying a lot of stuff that is not true. I think he used this to get as much from us as he could which I do not blame him. However, Why hire MA when you could get a Marshall or Williams for 1 million or so less? Makes no sense.
wait are you talking about Marshall said he would be here tomorrow or MA?

Why don't you read up and do a little research before asking questions and making assumptions. Do a little researching and come back.

No, he is not using Arkansas.

I wish you guys would hurry up and hire a coach so I'll know who Grant gets to dominate

You obviously do not know how much each currently makes, nor the background of each of the coaches to justify the difference in pay...

The guy doesn't know the difference between 'you're' and 'your', so I doubt he is capable of comprehending what he "reads".

Has Anderson officially asked for permission yet?
I was in SGF today and multiple people saw him Friday and Saturday in Columbia watching Scott County and 5a games.
Plus I think they said a family friend passed away

Permission for what?
He's a grown arse man.
If you didn't notice from the last coaching search, Arkansas doesn't request permission from schools/franchises to talk to their coaches...

In his contract he has to have written release to negotiate. But I guess that wouldn't matter to Arkansas to pay his remaining contract off at MU

My sources from Arkansas are telling me that Mark Gottfried will be hired during a presser on Tuesday at 5. He'll retain Pelphrey as an assistant, bring Jimmy Dykes back to Arky as an assistant, and then take Pearson from Georgia.
