It's going to be Ohio State, and they aren't going to lose either. SEC winner #2; the rest of the rankings won't matter.

1. Bama
2. Ohio State
3. Oregon
4. Texas A&M
5. Clemson
6. Georgia
7. LSU
8. Louisville
9. South Carolina
10. Michigan

I think the bowl performance kills UF's perception to the voters, and they start somewhere in 12-15.

Ohio State, Notre Dame, Bama, Texas A&M, and Oregon will be the top 5.

My guess is Ohio State will start #1 because people will expect them to run the table.

UGA, Vandy, Duke, LSU, and Idaho open the year ranked 1 - 5.

If Bama wins on Monday, they'll be #1. If not, probably OSU.

I forgive you for forgetting Stanford who I'd put around 7th. Also i don't see UGA being that high. I'm pretty sure they lose a lot to the draft

Don't they lost quite a bit as well? I know their QB is young though. Maybe top 15, like UF.

EDIT: lose*

Well they'll lose the RB Taylor to the draft. I think he's gonna be a beast RB in the pros. I love the way he runs the football. They have some important guys on both sides of the ball who are jr.s who are considering entering the draft. Most importantly 2 of their good TE's and 2 LB's. The key for stanford though is the QB Hogan who's been the difference maker for them since the QB switch was made and I believe he's a freshman

You are out of your mind dude. UF will be ranked high...of course these polls are always a bit based on the year previous and how teams did. UF did quite well.

Nueter Dame shouldnt be listed because they lose their defense....and OL etc etc...but the polls arent going to be smart...ND will be ranked where they dont belong at least in the beginning. Bama at # 1 is ok.,..but I think they will be slightly off and wont be in the BCS hunt this year, UGA & LSU will have defenses gutted but will still get votes because of recent history...A&M is maybe the wildcard....going to be interesting in year # 2 in the SEC...Ole Miss, Arkansas improve, MSU drops some, AU & UT wont be worse or better imho.
USC will be a good team and should be top ten.

Louisville could be a legit top ten if they get some defense and their schedule isnt scarey probably. Anyone voting the Florida State College for Women in the top ten needs their head examined....every year they are picked to be this and that. They suck.

If Bama wins, it's Bama all the way in most polls, but I'm sure one will pick OSU just to be different.
