and Florida. That's 3 tough away games. Arkansas has just two tough away games, and all the home games we should be the favorite to win.

Arkansas @ Bama is going to be huge. Whoever wins that is in the driver's seat IMO.

True but I don't think ours are as tough as yours. I would say Auburn is the toughest right now cause I don't know how quickly Florida will adapt to a new style of offense.

I kind of agree with the last part but at LSU is another tough one for Arkansas. Its the reason why I would rate LSU over Arkansas at this point.

This last year was the largest margin of victory over the last 6 years I believe by either team...prior to that the previous 5 games had been decided by 13 points...We've also take 3 of the last 4 from the Tigahs..

We will be strong in November again

Good teams find ways to win no matter where or who the opponent is.

I'm basing my predictions solely on personnel. I think LSU has the advantage on that basis.

That's great but I don't see how anyone would argue that LSU has a BIG edge in personnel this year. When there are a number of teams at the top who seem fairly even schedule is a huge factor.

Hmmm. Looks like the teams are going to have to lace em up and settle it on the field this fall.

Where it should be.

QB's with more playing time (2 SR's + juco starter), better OL than either UA (more starters back than Arky, 10 less sacks allowed than Alabama), better pass rush on DL then either.

Bama will win the LSU/BAMA game at home. The teams are so evenly matched. Same reason LSU won last year.

That's where we part. I don't think they're evenly matched at all. I think LSU has a big advantage going into this year, on both lines and at QB.

We had a better statistical defense last year than LSU and we return 10 starters plus a guy who was suspended last year who probably would have been a starter. On the other hand LSU loses their 3 best defensive players from last year in Nevis, Sheppherd and Peterson.

We clearly have the better defense back on paper. Its not real debatable.

Offensive lines are a push if anything. We bring back four starters. We have the better group of running backs on paper. LSU has the better wide receivers. QB is a huge question mark for us but its not like LSU brings back a big time player there. Still, edge LSU there for the moment.

No clear edge there if you're looking at it objectively.

Highly unlikely, though possible. You can't possibly believe this. I don't think a team in the west will go undefeated. It's LSU. Bama, or Arkansas that's going to win it. However, I would throw MSU into the mix as a spoiler, not to win it, but to create a little havok.

I think Bama has a slight edge because of schedule, outside of that it's a free for all. Personally, I wish the Hogs had LSU and Bama at home, we have those two on the road and that's going to be a tough order to fill.

It is debatable, given that we have more talent overall on defense and especially when it comes to pass rushing. Alabama just lost their best pass rusher.

LSU's OL gave up ten less sacks, and will b bigger next year. Not saying that UA's OL is especially bad, just that LSU's is and will continue to be better.

LSU outrushed Alabama this year. Even if Ridley goes, losing Ingram at Alabama is way worse than losing Ridley at LSU.

LOL, I'm having an argument with the biggest homer in the world.

We lose one good player on defense (the best defense in the conference by the way), you lose your three best players and you're still clearly the more talented group?

OK.

Your running back group is better than ours when we have Trent Richardson and you have a bunch of talented but unproven players?

OK.

I'd give Bama the edge in RB's and LB's in particular

Secondary and D-Line (lose Nevis and Dareus respectively) are about equal in my opinion
