This one is going to be close.
Hip shot
UF 24
MU 21
I could be way off, but with a new QB, I'm a little weary of MU in this one.
I know UF isn't a "powerhouse" Offense, but hasn't MU been giving up points in the second half?

I would have predicted Mizzou if you guys didn't have a backup QB.
We have always had a back up quarterback. He just happens to be playing this week.

I call both offenses a wash since UF's clearly has all kinds of issues, but has the better QB - I'm not buying into the hype on Mauk until I see production on the field.
Comparing defenses, UF's is clearly better.
UF wins.

Mizzou 17
UF 13
I think it's a grind for both offenses.

Mizzou 27
Florida 17
Florida will stack the box expecting us to primarily run with an untested QB. Mizzou will unleash the Mauk, showcasing why he holds so many high school records. Mizzou has too many offensive weapons to be held under 20. The defense will show why Murphy was 2nd behind Driskel.

I'm glad to see Mizzou fans confident after last year. They are a good addition to the conference and knowledgeable football fans know their program is no slouch.
However, Florida's D is not Georgia's. They actually have a secondary, a damn good one.
If Florida loses it will be because they have absolutely nothing on O. However, I expect that Florida will be able to pound the ball a little bit, keeping their D off the field and rested.
This game has SECCG implications so I think both teams will bring their A-game. Just another good SEC battle.

Something low scoring. I have faith though that UF can run the ball some on Missouri. Enough to score a couple of times. Plus I see some turnovers from the back up. We'll say 17-14 Florida.
Ugly game.

With Franklin, 21-20 mizzou. Without, 20-14 UF. Mizzou misses that QB leadership needed for the game winning drive and comes up short.

serious question, what gives you faith that UF will be able to run on Mizzou

I am betting Florida 17 - Mizzou 14

If we get owned on the LOS like last week, we lose. If we don't, we win. Which will happen? I have no idea.
Simple as that to me.

I can't wait to see the Mizzou WRs against the Fla secondary. I think Mizzou's healthy OLine will do a pretty good job holding up against Fla's weakened DLine and give Mauk a good amount of opportunities to find open receivers. Whether they can get open, or just out jump the Fla secondary is the question.
Also looking forward to seeing if Mizzou's DLine can pressure/rattle Fla's young QB like LSU did. I expect they can, but don't know a lot about Fla's OLine or how good they are at protection compared to GA's.
Being at home for Mizzou will be big, and let Mauk get comfortable calling plays and setting protections. Just the opposite for Fla's Murphy.
Mizzou wins 21-13.
