Does tubby give Auburn a "mutual" agreement like that of Tommy Bowdon and clemson?

IMO…even if AU loses out in SEC Play…Tuberville has earned the right to be given a chance to turn things around next season….

Without a doubt. For the record I think we may beat Ole Miss Saturday.

I'm on the fence on this one. Both Teams seem to struggle to finish the game off.

I say auburn by 1 but I could see this game going either way.

If its an early game Awbarn will not play well. They never do.I watched Ole Miss play Bama and was impressed with their defense and offense.Truly Nutt will out coach Tubbs and it will be ugly. Go Rebs!!!!!! 27-10

I heard A RUMOR that had been passed through three or four people before it got to me that Croom's job is not so safe. I have heard that they are privately recruiting funds from alumni to buy Croom out. I don't know if this is supposed to take place this year or next. I don't even know if it is accurate but this info supposedly came from someone who is close to the athletic department. MSU has a buyout fund set aside for the athletic department but supposedly the alumni are going to raise all of the funds so they don't have top tap into the buyout fund. Any MSU fans heard of this?

ETA: to answer the original thread- UM 24-AU 14

is this a gut feeling? Not trying to be a jackass. Like I said, what I wrote before was strictly a rumor. Personally, I don't see MSU cutting him a check since he just signed that extension last year or year before.

Firing Croom right now or after this season would be a big big big mistake, even though this season hasnt turned out to what was expected I truly believe he is still fixing Jackie's problems.

Don't tell anyone this, but a lot of us State grads are setting up these red pots all across the country between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We'll even be ringing little bells. This way everyone helps pay for the buyout.

Please. You people are the problem with our fanbase. Bunch of pussies that will keep praying that Tub'que will pull one out of his arse again.

I hope every 'fan' like you heads out the door when Tub'que is gone at the end of the season. Also, please take those that are just happy with beating Bama year in and year out with you, too.

ha ha I guess the rumor I heard was unfounded. I think State should give him at least another year. Five years isn't near long enough to clean up Sherrill's mess.

UM hasn't beaten Auburn at home since 1992, but i think they get it done this time, 20-13

Just having some fun. He's got at least one more season. It shouldn't take five years to get the program righted though. Jackie recruited some unsavory characters his last two seasons that needed to go, but some of ours losses on the field have been ridiculous.

As a side note: To hear some folks on this board, you would have thought we were SMU or something. This is the same type of stuff that teams like Auburn, Bama, and Ole Miss have gone through in the past 15 years as well. Our violations were no more than theirs.

Croom is definitely out recruiting us in the state. Getting Pegues from our backyard a couple of years a go was a huge step for ya'lls program. Dixon has another year left. And if Carroll steps up or Tyler Russell gets a grasp of the system ya'll could be a good team next year.

A win over Auburn would definitely help our recruiting purposes. Which is yet another reason that I would love to see a win this weekend for the rebels. But we cant mark the Egg Bowl down as a win over the Dogs, either. Cause the last couple of years speak for themselves.

My guess is you just graduated from AU within the last 3-4 years. Am I correct?

Still debating if I want to go into the game, I know I dont want to sit near the student section but Im afraid thats where I may end up if I go in. Is the sports bar in the library usually packed for a 1130 game?

Yes, and then one day maybe our entire fan base will consist of people who call other Auburn fans pussies for having an opinion different than their own. For the record I think it is time for a change at the head coaching position. But why on earth you would ever call a fellow Auburn fan out like that is absolutely beyond me and anonymously on the internet at that...absolutely pathetic. Just because someone has a different opinion on whether or not Tubs should be fired does not make them any less of an Auburn fan than you.
