If I was preparing LSU for Alabama I'd keep the nickle in the whole game and blitz from the edge 30% of the time. Alabama is truly balanced - they run 50% of the time and they pass 50%. Everybody loads the box to stop the run but nobody has stopped it. TR had more than 100 yards rushing against LSU but tackles for losses negated about 20 yards. LSUs D is a lightning fast monster off the edges and will throw TR or any other back for losses if they go to the edge too much - I think Bama avoids the edge and throws down the field much more - especially in the middle of the field. Expect TR to run the wheel route more and the TEs to be everywhere catching passes. I don't think Alabama rushes the edges unless that's the only read. Expect Alabama to run straight at LSU north and south.

I expect TR to rush 80-110 yards and pick up 40-75 yards recieving.

Eddie Lacy and Jalston Fowler will get their yards too if they keep it between the tackles.

The key to beating LSU is world class defense, solid special teams, a balanced attack, and rushing up the middle effectively. A tall order but NS knows he's got the team to do it.

LSU is not scoring double digits. I don't know how you people come up with these scores. Bama has a historic defense this year. #1 in the top 4 defensive categories hasn't been done since the 1930's. LSU's passing game is 105 out 120. Get friggin real.

LSU is going to work hard to shut down TR. This is why AJ has to have success throwing it. If AJ has a good night we should have a relatively easy victory because if he can throw it that will open up TR. AJ is the key.

Get real? We scored 9 in your house but double digits in our back yard is preposterous?

there is no way he break 100 yards rushing. He didnt even do that at BDS.

You act like it matters that he didn't break 100 in BDS. Doesn't mean he can't do it in the Dome. Home field advantage means nothing to Alabama. You can say a lot about Bama, but the facts are Bama plays better away from BDS than they do when they are at BDS. He was at like 99 before the O-Line let LSU into the back field.

Well LSU plays fricking awesome in the Dome and our speed will completely neutralize Trent. He has had an incredible career but there is no way he rushes for more than 100 yards in the dome against us in front of 40,000 of our fans. This is not Bamas year it really as simple as that. Maybe 2013.

Yeah, AJ CAN throw it just as good as anyone in College Football, but he's a first year starter not named Greg McElroy. Greg was fantastic under pressure, AJ is getting better, hell he did what was asked of him in the Swamp, at Happy Valley, and at Auburn in the Iron Bowl. I think he'll be able to throw it, but he's gonna throw at least 1 pick.

Sorry for double post.

Anyway, yeah I know how LSU plays in the Dome, but I think it's going to be different. We're gonna have to wait and see I suppose.

About 2013, yeah I see LSU winning it next year, then Bama, then IDK if LSU or Bama would win it after that, depends on their recruiting classes. In 2013 though we'll have more great RBs, Duron Carter in his last year of eligibility, a Senior Kenny Bell, a Junior DeAndrew White, and a lot of Sophomores who'll make contributions with a Senior AJ McCarron. The D will be loaded and experienced like this year. Next year LSU vs USC for the ship is all but guarantee'd.

He has yet to gain 100 yards or score a TD against LSU and won't happen again. LSU will stop the wheel route too. Maybe 120 yards total
