forget Kiffin- have you actually looked at Oke Miss' schedule and results?

it's worse than the A&M schedule y'all dissed all season.

Ole Miss should NOT be penalized for losing their coach, but they should be ranked behind A&M based on schedule and results.

Not being antagonizing, OM and A&M had similar schedules and results. A top 10 win, another top 25 win and a loss to a top 15 team. Both good seasons. End of the day, it's either number #6 or #7 for either of them. I could be wrong, but that should mean a home playoff game for both, since #5-8 host. So either way, it really doesn't matter too much and is just splitting hairs.

Lane Kiffin had 3 games under 7 points to very weak teams. Wash State, Kentucky and Arkansas.

No reason in this last week to change positions at 9 and 10 but they might if they want to keep the noise down over wanting Bama in over ND if BYU pulls the upset and Bama loses to GA.

They will just say Miami has 2 losses to unranked teams while ND lost to # 6 and #12.

Eh, #6 vs. #7 is going to be a big arse difference this year (and probably a lot of years) in quality of opponent you see in your first round.

#6 will likely either be playing Virginia or a G5 team at home in the first round. #7 will likely either be playing Alabama or Notre Dame (2 of the 6 - 7 teams that could win it all in my opinion). I suspect both would be right around a road pick em (against A&M) or an outright road favorite (against Ole Miss sans Laney boy) vs. what would be a double digit spread against the ACC champ or a G5 team.

Are we going to ignore the fact Kiffin got us 3 losses last year with an even better team.

The Ole Miss running game is markedly better than last year and LSU, SCar and UF all dipped off.

I know "crazy Kiffin" is who you'd like to lay blame under, but I feel like these are the true reasons.
