Moorhead is a first year head coach, State’s talent level is better than average for State but still far behind Auburn, Bama, LSU, and even A&M, and State will always be State.

Anyone who puts Miss State before Auburn is delusional.

Of the two teams to make fun of him homering MSU in front of, Auburn was not the correct selection.

Looks about right. Hard to predict Aggies, Tigers and Hogs.

You are state. Historically you've been middle of the pack and you've got a new coach. State won't be the same without Mullen.

Bama
Auburn
A&M
State
LSU
Arkansas
Ole Miss

Nah, it will be bottom 2 unless some team really chokes.

Alabama - 12-0 (8-0)
Auburn - 10-2 (6-2)
Mississippi State - 8-4 (4-4)
LSU - 7-5 (4-4)
Texas A&M - 6-6 (3-5)
Ole Miss - 6-6 (3-5)
Arkansas - 5-7 (1-7)

Lots of unknowns in the division this year. I feel pretty good about the top 2 only.

MSU was the softest and most overrated team AU has played the last two years. Mullen's Offense was the only reason people feared them.

Alabama

Auburn
State

A&M
LSU
Arkansas

Ole Miss

How I see them breaking down. I think AU loses two games (Bama and UGA) and may lose to State playing on the road. Getting LSU at home is a boost.

I think State is competitive, but it may also collapse entirely depending on the new coach.

A&M/LSU can kind of flip-flop for me easily.
Arkansas is kinda close, but not as good as A&M/LSU, but nowhere near as bad as Ole Miss.

Ole Miss is likely to get blown out a lot this year.

You play in Starkvegas. That was really the deciding factor for me. Honestly, Ms St could be good or crap the bed. I could see it going either way after Mullen leaving town.
