8-4 is a solid prediction.

Not with 5 OL starters coming back.

Eric Berry leads the best secondary in the SEC.

Crompton will be just finw with Arian Foster and three starters coming back at WR.

LSU 11-1 lose at UF

I'm sticking with 9-3. Beat AU but lose to UGA, UF, and SC (trap game).

thank you...thats what I'm saying. They play at UCLA early in the year with a new QB, then they have to go to So. Car., and still have Auburn, UF and UGA on their schedule.

As long as Auburn can defend its home turf against LSU our season will be a good one.

1st game of the season and on the road a long way from home. UCLA has a new head man and this will be his opening statement game. Not a good combo for TENN. They will miss Mayo in this one.

Nobody thought UK would beat us last year either. It's a trap game in a hostile stadium....anything can happen in the SEC.

True, but UK had a very good QB, and ours tanked at the end of that game. UK 07> SC 08

Also, I think our guys will be fired up and hungry after a possible UF loss (although I hpoe it doesn't happen). Only way this game is a trap is if we beat UF, and then it becomes a HUGE trap.

Tennesse:

@ Auburn
@ Georgia
vs Florida
Vs Alabama

I can see 3 losses there, hopefully 4. Doesn't mean there will be, however, odds are good for it imo.(3 that is)

I see there being 10 Bowl Eligible teams.

East
UGA : 10-2
UF : 10-2
UT : 9-3
USC : 7-5
UK : 6-6
Vandy : 5-7 / 4-8

West
LSU : 10-2 / 9-3 (gotta be realistic guys)
AU : 10-2 / 9-3
UA : 8-4 / 7-5
Ark : 6-6 / 7-5
Miss St : 7-5
Ole Miss : 3-9

And all that offensive talent will be led by a new QB and New OC..hell you return one coach on the offensive side of the ball...there will be some growing pains.

On Defense you lose 3 starters on the DL and 2 starting LBs.

I then look at your schedule:

Mon, Sep 1 FB @UCLA
Sat, Sep 13 FB UAB
Sat, Sep 20 FB Florida
Sat, Sep 27 FB @Auburn
Sat, Oct 4 FB Northern Illinois
Sat, Oct 11 FB @Georgia

If you don't see 3/4 games you could lose (not saying you will) by mid October you are wearing orange glasses.

Now the backside of the schedule is better, but Bama, MSU, and @South Carolina are all tough games, imo.

You could just as easily be 8-4 as 11-1. The talent is there, but there are alot of new parts to get working together.

This is LSU's year to beat Auburn at their house. I see anywhere from 1 to 3 losses with Auburn not being one of them.

Its gonna be a night game at home and AU should be undefeated coming in (assuming they get by MSU). LSU is good but it will be a tough game for LSU to win. Will set the early tone for the West for sure.
