I was talking to a couple of my buddies about what the gators team. Both of the guys that were bulldogs immediately said 4-8 and the 2 Seminoles both said 7-5. I'll go with 7-5 and I doubt they face 5 teams with more talent than them.

What do the guys that follow the East think

7-5 or 8-4. But I'm leaning 7-5

7-5 is probably the answer we have an easy schedule so I guess 9-10 wins is possible but we won’t be able to stop the run this year. Our DT and LB talent is under par from what we’ve seen. Still don’t have a QB we trust, unless we catch a lot of breaks it’s gonna be a 6-8 win season.

38-0 is how bad you guys will lose in starkville. It will be glorious.

Who will be your likely front 7 starters in a 3-4 defense?

My best guess at this point Clarke at the Nose he’s just a guy and a 5th year senior, Ancrum and Conliffe will probably start at DE. neither have done much. OLB will probably be CeCe and Zuniga they should be okay but they are used to playing with there hand in the ground so we will see. MLB is full of mediocrity too, got 7-8 3 stars to pick from it will probably end up being David Reese and Rashad Jackson. Neither give me the warm and fuzzies. So yeah we should be able to rush the passer but run D is going to be a work in progress. So
DE Ancrum
DT Clarke
DE Conliffe
OLB Jefferson
MLB Reese
MLB Jackson
OLB Zuniga

7-5, with a surprise upset of FSU at the end of the season. I really only see 4 games I feel certain will be losses, but I think Mullen will manage to lose at least 1 more. Then, staying true to form, Mullen will salvage an otherwise forgettable season with a win over his rival.

Probably 8-4. Mullen will be good in Gainesville but needs a year IMO.

Thanks. I was looking at your roster and you guys lost almost as much on defense as we did. I saw Zuniga looking pretty good a few times last year, thought he might do well at OLB. I'd guess 8-4, but since QB is still a question mark that's a big guess.

I’ll take 1-11 with a win over FSU at this point, we have to beat them this year.

Who?

I mean I could see UGA but anybody that has followed that rivalry the past 30 years wouldn't say that it was ever a certain w or l.

Mississippi State Bulldogs - tossup (loss)
LSU Tigers - tossup (win)
Vanderbilt Commodores - W
Georgia Bulldogs - L

Mac was as bad at recruiting defense as Champ was offense. We lucked out with Marco and C.J at CB so we should be pretty good on the back end. If I was an OC playing us I would run it down our throat all day. We don’t have the size or the depth to stop it right now.

I'll go through the schedule.

Charleston Southern W
Kentucky W
Colorado State W
@ Tennessee Tossup W
@ Mississippi State L
LSU Tossup W
@ Vanderbilt W
vs Georgia L
Missouri Tossup L
South Carolina Tossup L
Idaho W
@ Florida State L

During the Mullen era at State, if he was favored then he won. He rarely ever pulled an upset. He just tended to get wins by having the better team. But that also meant he was able to avoid getting upset for the most part. There were exceptions to both but that was the general rule.

I have Florida with 5 garunteed wins, 4 Tossups, and 3 garunteed losses. So at worst I have them at 5-7, at best I have them at 9-3. I took the in between and have them at 7-5. However. Any result of those Tossups wouldn't surprise me. But it would surprise me if the garunteed wins or losses changed. Because that just wasn't what he did at State.
