It matters how long Saban is coaching. If he can recruit and stay out of the coordinators way, all is well. It will be fun to watch these guys play in an offense not from 1950. Obviously replacing coordinators will be a huge deal.

awhhhh poor wittle tiger in bamaland... did I hurt your wittle snowflake feelings by not bowing at the awesomeness of next years LSU team? Sonny, I look at SEC rosters and compare them. I doubt you could name one OLman from... say ... the MSU team.
I could be way off next year. However, I predicted last years record spot on, even called the Wisconsin loss. You people on the other hand seem to think anyone who realistically looks at LSU is a troll and an evil person.
And THAT is exactly the most screwed up thing in the fan base... this ridiculous, non-fact-based perpetual belief that next year is going to be the magic year. And out of that comes out of control euphoria when the season starts. And what then happens? Losses must be blamed on the SEC office, the FBI cover-up, or scheduling, or refs... which makes the fan base even more of a cypher for foolishness. No other fan base routinely goes ballistic on 15-0 predictions every year, not Alabama, no other team. Yet on Tr right now you can find many such predictions.
Let's see ... oh yes... last year - 7 2017 first round NFL draft picks, LOCK! - Sure fire Heisman winner! - Best OL in the NCAA! - 18 returning 5-star starters! Valentine is going to dominate! -- Harris is all-world 5-star wanted by everyone! - What's-his-name is the best ILB in the country! - Receiver corps is the best ever! - DBU! OMG the entire starting team were 5-star recruits except that the recruiting services rated them down because they hate LSU ... on and on.
I recommend a hard look at LSU. I always follow the team, and their recruiting, and I do know a little about prep football in New Orleans. And no, I don't "hate" LSU... just think some fans are absurd. Best wishes and regards sweetheart, ciao.

Ed O. did a terrific job at USC (Los Angeles) and they still refused to hire him. Ed's got to address the referee issues full boar or he'll be gone next year. LSU's getting royally f'cked!

I have never seen a fan base that gets excited over a coach that has an overall record of 10-27. Hell, Croom got 8 wins in one season and he was awful.
