Curious as to what Clemson brings to the table other than a defensive line and your general negativity that leads you to believe we lose this game?

Why "should" we lose to USCe? Is this based on the game being Columbia? We beat them by 11 last year when they had a generational talent on D and their most successful QB in school history.
I realize Columbia wasn't kind to us in 2012 and 2010, but Richt isn't unfamiliar with winning games there. 2012 gives me some pause, but 2010 was a uniquely different story. A freshman QB with no AJ Green.

Hard to predict UGA due to the annual early suspensions. For the purpose of this thread I'll assume they are at full strength. 11-1 or 10-2 depending on the Auburn game. I think they lose early to USCe and finish 2nd in the SEC Least.

Gotta hand it to you, Stonehog. This was excellent. It started a whole chain of troll threads and even non-troll threads that were taken as troll threads. I posted this in the "predict South Carolina's season"
What will be next?
quote:
1. Arkansas fan starts a thread predicting Georgia's season. Arkansas predicts Georgia loses in Little Rock. Georgia fans get mad.
2. Georgia fan starts a thread predicting Arkansas' season.
3. Gator fan makes a thread predicting Kentucky's season.
4. State fan makes a thread predicting Mizzou's season because he thinks that's what everyone is doing now. Mizzou fans get mad and presume it must be a response thread because someone got their jimmies rustled.
5. Mizzou fan makes a thread predicting South Carolina's season because he thinks South Carolina fans are the ones behind the shitty Mizzou predictions.
What will be next?

What is Georgia's O line situation like? Anyone to watch out for?

As if y'all were the only team to be hit with injuries.
It's different when many are at the same position. UGA started a walk-on at WR....

Lost 3 starters, none of which were drafted. So, many people see that and say, oh they facked.
But they don't see the bigger picture. Theus and Andrews will 3 year starters this years. Kolton Houston started (I think) 6 games last year in his first eligible year. He will make the biggest progression as he finally gets to practice with the 1st team OL and work out in a normal S&C program. Essentially, counting Houston, we have 3 starters coming back. Two tackles and a center.
Somebody has to step up at either guard position and that's where the focus in fall camp will be. There's a lot of possibilities.
Mark Beard could move down from tackle. He started 2-3 games at LT in 2011.
Watts Dantzler is a senior and will get a look.
Personally, I like Brandon Kublanow (true sophomore) and Greg Pyke (redshirt sophomore).
There are others, of course, but these 4 stick out.
So, on the one hand, you'll see in preseason mags that UGA returns 2 starters on the OL, but in reality those people haven't done their research. We return 4 guys who have started multiple games on the OL and we have a ton of OL who have been in the program for at least 3 years. The only young guy we're counting on is Kublanow.

Thanks for the breakdown, it will be interesting to see how those guys gel. Our guard position is a question mark as well, no clue who is gonna be starting there.

Florida will probably have a great D.
They lost most of their secondary from a year ago....

There were 5 DCs, on AUs schedule, last year that gave up less offensive points.
Yeah before your offense got hot.

LT: John Theus (JR)- 2 year starter. Soph. slump LY.
C: David Andrews (SR)- long time starter
RT: Kolton Houston (SR)- started some last year.
OG spots are still open to competition.
