10-2 with losses to Bama and Florida

gEORGIA'S ACC Wake QB should be able to beat a completely reloading ACC/Virginia, though I don't believe he ever did at Wake.

Wheels will start falling off any year now! This might be a good year for that to happen to UGA football team.

lol and you’re accusing someone else of being biased. Tennessee was the only sec defense to give up 30+ to UGA’s abysmal offense. Tennessee hasn’t kept it within 20 of bama, UF, or UGA for 3 years now. I don’t see that changing as long as JG is qb.

We know UGA won’t lose to bama since they weren’t able to beat a single ranked team in the regular season last year.

All comes down to one game, Dawgs!
Maybe two!
Jacksonville!
Beat FLA and you get LSU again!
Your QB Newman doesn’t inspire confidence with 11 picks last year. Ain’t no way he hangs in an LSU game where we’re throwing 45+ passes in an 80 play game.
You did know Newman led the NCAA in hurry up 82.9 plays per game. I’m assuming Kirby is trying to capture some of that magic.
60% passes! 145 QB Rating! Serviceable!
We’ll see what Newman has in Tuscaloosa.
Newman ranked 40 among 2019 QBs
PFF has Newman at 16 (Fromm 8)
16. JAMIE NEWMAN, SAM HARTMAN – WAKE FOREST
Preseason Rank: 37; Week 6 Rank: 7; Week 12 Rank: 11
Newman’s services are headed to Georgia in 2020 and that leaves Hartman as the next man up. He’ll have big shoes to fill with the void of Newman’s transfer. Newman finished the year as the country’s sixth highest-graded quarterback on all throws at least 10 yards downfield, completing passes at a high rate and uncorking 22 big-time throws compared to just four turnover-worthy passes. He stood tall in the pocket and utilized his big arm to squeeze throws into tight windows, seemingly at will. When necessary, Newman took something off the ball and floated passes into his big receivers on the outside. He was the country’s 10th highest-graded passer on throws outside the numbers in 2019, completing 106-of-175 attempts for 1,548 yards, 17 touchdowns and 13 of his big-time throws came on such passes.

-Jamie Newman is the worst QB ever

-Mullen finally has his players and his superior gameday coaching will show

Don’t see how we can compete with these elite teams.

quote:Yeah you're absolutely full of shite if you think most UF fans had expectations of winning the East in 2018 coming off a 4-8 year. I'm sure we talked shite the week before the WLOCP as is customary but to act like the first two years of a coach's tenure demonstrates status quo is absolute tomfoolery
I'm being serious. I know Florida fans said it was coming in 2018, and then in 2019. But 2020 is when it's really going to happen. Unless of course, it doesn't, then 2021 will be the year.

Hey dipshit, why are you avoiding my question with a thesis on Newman?
Posted on 6/3/20 at 8:19 pm to atlanta917
There is only one unit (offense, defense, or special teams) that qualifies as elite in the SEC East, and it doesn't reside in either Knoxville or Gainesville.
It is the Georgia defense, and until either UT or UF figures out how to be better than them, the road to Atlanta still goes through Athens, GA. As Erk Russell said, “If we score, we may win. If they never score, we’ll never lose.”

Hey man, everyone knows UGA needs an elite QB to make it to Atlanta. Just imagine how UGA would’ve done last year without heisman hopeful Fromm torching teams through the air.

Then you'll have to admit that Kirby is the better game day coach if UF had the better team
had to go find it but I’ll comment!
Don’t see a question here!
Shut down Florida Rushing game and squeezed one out 24-17 with 398 yards offense playing Kirby ball. Also got those great breaks from the refs in the first half.
Hey I’m a Tiger Fan so I have no dawgs (pun intended) in this race, but:
1. Florida got hosed on that 4th down TE Pass that Ray Charles would have called PI
2. GA bounced a pass off the ground and it was called complete. Fromm TD after that gift
3. Florida got hosed with a PI on an uncatchable Ball
GA caught all the breaks and that was more than the margin of victory. GA beat the better team (IMO) and, based on breaks Florida caught the shitteey end of the stick.
It happens! I enjoyed watching Mullen going postal, he puts on a good show.
Better game day coach is still Mullen. Football is a game of intangibles and breaks and GA caught all the breaks and won a close game.
Now, you called me a dipshit! Let me reply in terms of Dawg Math:
37-10 (2018) + 36-16 (2019) = 73-26
SEVENTY FKN THREE TO TWENTY FKN SIX
19 - 27 (2018) + 42-28 (2019) = 61-55
Two Year Solution using LSU barometer:
Kirby loses 73-26
Mullen loses 61-55
Draw your own conclusions

Just don’t play LSU. Automatic bloodbath.

Sure, you're still a dipshit. Transitive property doesn't work in football. You're old enough to know that.

Lose to Bama, FL, and AUB. SC may even sneak up on the WF QB.

What Fla breaks are you talking about?

1. Uga scores on a long td run, and the refs called it back with a bad holding call. Cost 7.
2. Florida scores soon after, and the refs let it stand despite a offensive pass interference. Cost 7.
Total = 14. Turned a blow out into a closer game.

Or maybe UF couldn’t get off the field on third down. Seriously, if SC can shut down Fromm then why can’t UF with better players? Seems like Muschamp is just a better coach.

Sure, that’s why he’s 0-3 against Smart with no game being particularly close. He’s also 2-22 against teams that finish with more than 9 wins while Smart has a winning record against top 10 opponents.
