This is some loser shite. Even worse is that 9-3 would warrant endless shite talking and predictions of “taking over” in the eyes of Aggy fans

At least we’ll have another W over the pigs. Practically a lock.

As I said, none of those will be a picnic and we could lose all 4 of them. I do not know enough about those teams to make a prediction. I would love to take 2. Anything more would be gravy. And what would be a very successful season.

Let me ask a serious question...how many of those recruits from that 'greatest recruiting class ever' are still around? I know some transferred away, right? I'm not attacking or being sarcastic, I haven't really kept up. If there's a bunch of them still around, this teams obviously got talent. I mean, the Ags face alot of grief on this forum, but Weigman was the #3 QB recruit in the nation after Allar the Penn St kid and Kublnik at Clemson. He's no slouch. I don't understand some of the hate. I think they can win 9 games and that beat down of LSU showed they CAN compete with the big dogs.

A lot of those recruits are left, and they got a ton of snaps last year. We led the nation by a far margin in most freshmen snaps. We probably set a record.

Both Jimbo and Petrino are cancers. I'm seeing 4-8 and another season without a bowl game. But I wouldn't be surprised if you beat LSU.

We lost a few to transfers but that was expected in this era of transfers and NIL. Our youth gaining experience is one reason I am optimistic for this season and the next. As another Aggie said, we started a lot of froshes last season who struggled but seemed to have gelled against LSU. I hope that game was a preview of this season and the next.

Jimbo has not lit the SEC on fire. Only time will tell what the combo will do.

I believe 8-9 wins is more realistic. But if we lose to Miami then I will have to agree with you.

Jimbo for all his faults has done very well against LSU minus the beating Burrow put on us, plus he is undefeated vs Kelly.

Jimbo had a very good season during Covid. That season was defined by a senior Mond controlling the game, and 4 seniors on the OL with Green. We have strong teams when the OL is strong, and the QB can score and manage the game. Mond could go on 8 minute drives with the best of them. Weigman was a true fish. Give it time.

We should improve this year tho imo.

Must be why he still has a job.

Sumlin was fired despite having a better record.

Most people pretend 2020 did not happen but that was a very good team. I honestly felt Alabama was the only team better than us. Hopefully, this season will be more of that.

Also Josh Henson’s first season was horrible. People wanted him fired. His second year was way better. I’m going to give our OL coach slack for last year, year 1, injuries. But year 2, all criticism or praise he receives is on him.

Agree, no excuses this season. It is either put up or shut up and I think they will put up. I'm excited for the season and cannot wait to see how they perform.

7-5. Jimbo rides off into the sunset with millions of dollars.
