LSU vs. Clemson

We already beat OSU and OU in the Championship Game.

I know you’re confused.

It is your opinion that in games that LSU didn’t play in, UGA played better.

It is also your opinion that because UGA won essentially a bowl game, they’re better than LSU despite us also winning a bowl game.

I’ve already explained to you why ultimately that SEC Championship comes with an * because of the weak SEC East and the rematch.

What we know for certain, is that LSU kicks the shite out of UGA except for that time in 2005 you mentioned.

What we know 100% is that UGA outperformed LSU against Auburn (won by more points), UF (didn't lose), and Bama (didn't get shutout and lose by 20+). We also know in 3 years of coaching Smart has achieved more than O in his entire career. Stomped Auburn in the SECC and then won a playoff game. Also, not that LSU was in a playoff game that year, but they lost to ND. I'd take a playoff win and a SECC over a win against some team any day. I'm pretty sure you would too, unless you think UGA is LSU's Super Bowl. If so, have more respect for your team than that. I also never mentioned 2005, so not sure what you're talking about.

Im going to ignore your asinine assumptions that somehow UGA is a better team than LSU because they played better in games LSU wasn’t playing in. The fact is, in the only real metric that matters, LSU kicked the dog shite out of UGA.

Stop trying to make a “playoff win” into something it isn’t. You won a bowl game. Way to go, UGA. Just be thankful it wasn’t against Texas, evidently.

It is widely accepted that UGA has a far easier path to the SECCG because of the benefit of playing in the east. You got an AU team that by all accounts shouldn’t have been there and were absolutely worn down because of, you guessed it, the gauntlet that is the SEC West. Then you promptly got bounced from the CFP.

Anyone not named dawg, or some variation of dawg, can see that UGA crumbles when it matters most. When competition is as good or better, you get beat down.

Auburn clashes with A&M, State, Oregon, Florida , and LSU before Georgia.

I dont believe the Auburn vs Georgia matchup will be what I define as a "behemoth" matchup. As Auburn isnt coming out of that stretch without at least 2 losses. Probably 3 tbh.

lol you're going to ignore it because you know LSU hasn't done anything under O. Kirby has won the SEC and a playoff game, and made it to the natty. Kirby is 2-2 in his biggest games so far. Won the SEC, lost the SEC. Won a playoff game, lost a playoff game. It's hilarious to me you don't think the playoffs are a big deal considering LSU has never made it there. I can understand an Alabama fan saying they aren't a big deal because they've been there every year. Sorry Kirby has accomplished more in 3 years than O has in his entire career. Maybe LSU makes it to the SECC and we can continue the convo then. I doubt it though. Oh, and UGA is a better team because they've been more successful since the current coaches have been there. Because they've played in games that LSU hasn't like the SECC and playoffs

Listen, I’m not an Orgeron supporter at all so you trying to use that against me doesn’t work.

UGA is the LSU of the east.

FACT.

Continually high expectations that are not met. You can put lipstick on a pig, or dog rather, if you want, but you can’t downplay your transgressions and fluff up your “playoff wins” to try and win the argument when Ed fricking Orgeron curb stomped your best coach ever.

I agree UGA didn’t meet expectations with Richt, but when has Kirby? No one expected UGA to win the sec and go to the playoffs in year two and UGA was expected to take a step back after losing their seniors in year 3. Outside of year 1 Kirby has either exceeded or met expectations. Also, any coach that’s an elite recruiter just needs the right OC hire to make a run, so it’s not like O can’t succeed.

It's not like we play LSU very often, and we have beaten them since 2005. But, he said we don't show up when we play LSU and i showed how LSU was a heavy favorite and we whipped them.

I hope you understood all those big words.

Georgia vs the West last year 1-2

Okay. Alabama verses the east last year: 2-0
The rest of the west verses the east last year: 4-8

Satisfied? Listen carefully...this is about division against division not about one team. And it is also about regular season.

This really isn't all that hard to understand, yet west fans seem to be struggling. Must be why the top 3 academic schools in the conference are from the east?

Auburn vs Oregon
Auburn vs Texas A&M
Auburn vs LSU
Auburn vs Georgia
Auburn vs Alabama

Looks about right to me. All top 12 teams Auburn has to cut through.

Forgot to add Auburn vs Florida

You act like 2007 was yesterday.

When was the last time LSU finished higher than 3rd in their own division? Yet somehow you feel like you are king of the hill.

Who was bama’s big ooc opponent last year or the year before?

Let me answer that.

Last year: a 10 loss Louisville team
Year before: a 6 loss FSU

HOWEVER...I will say that Alabama typically plays good OOC teams to start the season. I have nothing against Alabama, but I do think this poster is way off base to assume we play weak OOC teams.

We play in the Western Division.

Not the pitiful east.

We also play the best team from the east in Florida every single year. Last year we had y’all and well, we all know how that turned out.

Why is this hard to understand?

Pretty sure we win our division fairly regularly.

That National Championship game didn't meet expectations? 2011 must really suck for you then. The last time LSU met expectations was when they lost 2 games and managed to win a NC. I'd take it, but you should thank your lucky stars for that one.

Dude. The pitiful east had a better head to head against the west even with the best team in the east splitting. West must really, REALLY be pitiful.

I didn't know they won the east the last two years. Did I fall asleep and miss something>

Florida has not been real good lately and they still manage to split with you. maybe LSU isn't as great as you think they are? I mean, even a lowly east team scored on Alabama. In fact, every east team that played Alabama last year scored on them.

LSU has the toughest schedule in the SEC (again) and it is somehow the weakest it has been in recent years

I guess Troy is better than LSU, then?

Thanks for clearing that up.
