Probably somewhere between 2-3. LSU will make the playoffs under Kiffin, but projecting them to the title game before he coaches a single game there is tough.

No its not.
Nick Saban (the GOAT) won 1 natty
Brian Kelly (winningest coach in Notre Dame history) no natty
Paul Dietzel (hall of famer) won 1 natty
Cholly Mac (hall of famer) no natty
History says Lane Kiffin will not win multiple nattys at LSU. Yall have had 4 hall of fame coaches come through and no one won multiple. He might win one but hes not even a hall of fame coach yet and yall think he will win multiple. Thats so stupid and unfair to him lowkey

Everyone is going to start portaling in 2 and 3 stars?

He repeats exactly what Brian Kelly was doing at LSU minus an SEC championship appearance and heisman.
I'm not saying you're going to be wrong but what is the thought process behind this?

Just like his past…sketchy

At best, between 1 & 2. Even Miles got LSU to 2. Brought 1 home. I think Lane can replicate that.
At worst 5, but that would be the worst anyone could do anywhere.

The only one of these that is even remotely relevant to the conversation is Kelly. Saban wasn't here long enough to win multiple championships. The other two were from a time that LSU wasn't spending the money to compete for championships. They didn't start doing that until Saban arrived and Skip Bertman was the AD. That's why LSU fans always look at 2000-present when it comes to football. That's when we began actually allocating the resources to football necessary to compete.

Lane Kiffen has never won at any level. He doesn't have it in him to win a championship.

If he does, you're going to be in shambles.

There's a bit of a difference between being a sidewalk or tshirt fan and a bandwagon....

From Google
A t-shirt fan.
quote:
A "sidewalk fan" (or "sidewalk alumni") refers to a passionate supporter of a sports team, especially in college sports, who has no direct affiliation (like attending or graduating) with the school but feels deeply connected, often due to living in the area, family ties, or simply loving the team's performance, walking the same "sidewalks" as true alumni

Exactly.

Historically it is what he has done.
9-10 wins. He had a pretty easy schedule by SEC standards in all the years he won 10+ games at Ole Miss. He was 0-for in big away games until the OU game and nearly fricked that one up by going for it on his own 30 up 2 scores and didn’t get it.
He won 1 big game at Ole Miss comfortably by relying on his defense and taking points. Georgia in 2024.
He also refused to take points against Kentucky LSU and Florida last season and went 0-3 in those games.
He has a large enough body of work to predict what he will do.
