Starting out in Columbia with a new QB and returning one of the worst defenses in the history of college football (nowhere to go but up though!) doesn't help.

Auburn has no defense, Alabama will be favored in every game like they always are. Same old story. Doesn't matter until the game is played

I don't know how you would take this, but they are built like Bama with a better pass offense. Bama was a top defense and had trouble with Auburn, so did FSU, it means nothing. FSU went into Clemson's house and demolished them, they did the same thing to Florida. This team they have is about as ready as you can have a team be.

USC will have a great D...but the offense will suck.

Auburn could be really great.
Oregon is vastly overrated...I don't think the Chip Kelly replacement has the chops.
UCLA is a lot of people's darlings as Top 5...but I don't see it.

South Carolina? I don't know exactly what is back on their line, but they've got Mike Davis and some solid WRs. Dylan Thompson has been a decent QB for them.
