Better question, why does Ole Miss play @ Memphis ever?
:rivalry:

That's why Arkansas has a game planned to play TCU and Michigan coming soon. The Rebs set the curve!
Memphis= Michigan,TCU

We need to give our Memphis fanbase an easy drive for a game like Arkansas does to Little Rock.

Talking about this season. Rebs are doing their part to bring up the conference SOS while yall are playing @ Syracuse what a joke.

We usually play great OCC teams so don't start that garbage. Oregon, NC, Wisconsin, TCU, Washington(ranked with a 1st round QB), VT, ASU, and Oregon St all during Miles tenure here.

you play Memphis every year. They're usually terrible. Ole Miss plays them to appease their alumni base in Memphis. They don't play them because it's a quality OOC opponent. You get more credit for you H/H with Texas than memphis, even though Texas was horrible both years you played them

City of Memphis is your biggest fan base and it's only an hour drive.
Technically a road game, but not worth bragging about.

38-10
Memphis was ranked in the final AP poll last year. LSU wasn't though.

Ole Miss stayed ranked after getting bent over in their bowl game and finishing 9-4. It's good that you own that though. That's not a successful season anywhere but Ole Miss, and probably Arkansas.

Tennessee does it every other year.
Teams like UCLA, Oregon (in their prime), and Oklahoma.
You are NOT special.

All lost by a field goal which equates to the only points Ole Miss could score on TCU the entire game.

Dude.. How much better do you actually think Memphis is over Syracuse. A Memphis vs Syracuse game would be close as frick. Also we open against our ooc power 5s. Yall scared of Memphis?
