The only like opponent AU and USCheat played that year was VT. We never once trailed, and they needed a bullshite PI call to beat VT. And let's not forget them barely beating a sub 500 UCLA, Fresno State, etc., but don't let facts get in the way of your opinion.
Let's not forget Auburn needed a weird personal foul call (a penalty that doesn't exist anymore) on an extra point miss to beat a Marcus Randall led LSU team. Every team is gonna have bad games in a season. USC would have destroyed Auburn in 2004 9 out of 10 times

here's 2 ... first one's a turncoat coward from NC and the second one's no-count carpetbagger from Oregon,
^^^^^this piece of trash made comments in 2012 on a satellite sports radio show trying to say that Steve Spurrier not taking questions from media is why the problems and corruption at Penn State occured. he later back-tracked on his words. he is no longer employed by The State newspaper.
^^^^this idiot will have his image hung in effigy at the corner of Upper King & Columbus St sooner than later. "Cullen Harper For Heisman" - July 4 2008 is all you need to know about his journalistic aptitude. congrats to the town of Mt Pleasant for once again providing safe haven for those who don't belong in our State.

Are you saying LSU was on par with a sub 500 UCLA and Fresno State teams?
And AU had the #1 defense in the country that year and tons of draft picks on offense. Anyone who thinks that team would get destroyed by anyone is retarded.

No way. Would USC have beaten Auburn ? Maybe. Would USC have destroyed Auburn? Not a fricking chance.

Uhh, 2004 USC didn't play Fresno State nor did they need a miracle play to beat Virginia Tech by eleven points.

Additionally, UCLA did not finish below .500.
USC would have spanked Auburn, no doubt. The amount of NFL talent on that team was absurd.

Newton is definitely the best choice. With him Muffin wins the West in 2010.

What would you know, Rebal? You only won 4 games that year.
Doubt you were even watching football that year.

It's not unreasonable. Cam Newton was that good. Muffin definitely beats Auburn and Arkansas in 2010 with Newton.

I know it's auburn , but I can't figure out what that pic is showing.
May be from before your time, but 1994 Auburn vs. LSU. LSU led 23-9 in the first quarter and lost 30-26 due to 3 pick sixes.
Actually, we led Auburn early in the FOURTH quarter 23-9. Nix had been knocked out and it was clear Auburn was not going to score again with freshman Dameyune Craig in. We kept backing them up deep.
LSU could have handed off the reat of the game and it would have ended up 23-9.
