Of course Bama can win. Hell, LSU's best defensive player is a liability in coverage!

Ignorant comments always get me upset.

I have a feeling if I knew you IRL, I'd be constantly pissed.

While everyone is "upset at" you for being such a genius, I assume?

But seriously, is TM7 the starter ahead of Claiborne?

no claiborne is the number 1 corner but that isn't the issue and being number 2 doesn't make him a liability in coverage.

and yes lots of people are upset because im better than them. I just tell them to deal with it as i drop my shades.

No. Claiborne and TM07 are both starters.

Hard for me to fathom anyone believing Bama has an advantage in the DB department. Yeah, the two secondaries may be even talent-wise, but have you seen them play? LSU forces turnovers and big plays every game; Bama does not.

Can I please ask how Smelley quit? I thought he played a good game.

I get the whole Dre quit deal but...

"we made Trent quit" and "we shut Trent down" arguments confuse me. 160 total yards is pretty good. Not his best game but he made a lot of good runs that game.

Yeah, I'd have guessed it wouldn't make him the liability. He and Reid are the most talented players on your team. They look like they could play in the NFL right now. I'm not sold on TM7, though. Don't get me wrong, dude's got talent, but I'm not sure if it translates over to the next level very well.

No Bama player "quit".

sheeeesh.

These are two very evenly matched, extremely talented, very hard working teams.

It does not detract from my support of LSU to acknowledge that Bama is terrific and that I respect the hell out of the team / program.

know you guys LOOOOVE him, and rightfully so, but he's not a great coverage corner. I'm sure he'll get better in time, but right now, he's not.

Do you REALLY think TM7 is the best defensive player in football? Seriously? He's had a lot of high-profile, big plays, but you have two or three CB's on your own team that I'd rather have than him.

This has to be a joke. I have seen him make some amazing picks in man-to-man coverage between last year and this year, to go along with all of the other great plays. Watch his highlights from just his fr. year.

I think Dre is pretty good, but i clearly think he will be the 3rd best corner on the 9th.

Should have asked which we thought was the better cover corner. I kind of think TM7 is the beneficiary of a zone based D while being surrounded by tons of talents superior to his own.

Same here. The game is a Pickem on my site and I probably won't even touch it. If I had to bet, I'd probably take LSU but I'm gonna stay away.

You are just incorrect.

This is RARELY the case.

You can say it as many times as you want, but TM7 isn't great in coverage. He's just not. That's his weakness.

You guys can believe what you want, but if TM7 hadn't come up with a lot of turnovers that had nothing to do with his coverage skills (knocking the ball from the QB) and some big special teams plays, you wouldn't be nearly as excited about him. I'm not saying he's terrible in coverage, but he's by far your weakest link in that area.

TM7 might not be a superstar the next level but its probably not wise to bet against him. people have put him down his whole life on his size and he has over come it. I think he can find a role in the nfl and be a good player. plus his coverage skills really aren't bad like teague claims.

Bama fans can't even remember a month and 1/2 ago. I guess saban getting desperate and choking are two different things. How bout that AU game last year, giving up that lead should be the definition of choking.

He isn't a liability by no means. Hanks was getting decent separation from him though. Even when AJ wasn't hitting him.
