I doubt anybody has the Bama/UT game circled on the calender including the players on each team.

You overestimate the number of fricks given about that game.

Once the LSU olds mingle more with the youngsters it will be back on. We need to beat them, of course. Preferably at their place. The the match will be thrown into the tinder, so to speak.

Best/most impactful game does not equal a rivalry. I don't expect LSU fans to understand that.

A&M and Ole Miss are LSU's truest rivals right now. OM just needs to find another gear, which, judging by last years game, they may have.

BTW, this is not a hack on Arkansas.

David Pollack just said this on College Football Live. And in response, Paul Finebaum said that this year it is Alabama and A&M.

These are the last 2 guys I would ever quote.

Notre Dame vs Navy is easily the best rivalry in cfb. Pollack is a putz.

Then how do either one of them speak for LSU or Alabama on who their rivals are?

No one gives a shite about that game outside of those two fanbases.

Well I would assume when talking about the best rivalry in college football that people outside of the concerned fanbases would have a little input.

So I have some sort of insight on the UCLA/USC rivalry that their fanbases don't? Again, it seems like they're confusing "rivalry" with "big game." Regardless, it's cute how some of you LSU fans cling to this stuff trying to attach yourselves to Alabama to make LSU more relevant.

I honestly don't understand what you are talking about. I never said anything to suggest such.

Yes. Like does it suck and is it interesting in the least? If not then it's a crappy rivalry.

I agree. LSU/Alabama is the "it" game for now. It used to be LSU/AU.. Hopefully the LSU/AU game can return to former glory, used to be my favorite game of the year.

Rivalries are about those particular fanbases and how they value it, and the passion that goes into it. Generally, fans of other fanbases don't care about somebody else's rivalries. I don't care about UCLA/USC because it's not a big game. People care about LSU/Alabama or Alabama/A&M because it's a big game.
