While James recently talked about returning to TV sports, it won't be at ESPN. Says ESPN spokesman Mike Soltys: "As we've said all along, he's not coming back."

Thank God! Craig James is not going to be a Senator and we will not have to hear his thoughts every time we want to watch a Thursday night game.

College Gameday can have their All Big Ten cast but at least we will dominate Thursday night. David Pollack, Jesse Palmer and Rece Davis.

I'd rather put a bullet in my head than listen to those three. Rece Davis is the only decent one.

I won't forget having to listen to Craig James bitch during the South Carolina game in 2009, about how Ole Miss beat Texas Tech only because Texas Tech didn't care....and if they really cared, Ole Miss would have lost by several TDs. There was so much butthurt running through him while he was talking about that.

I like Pollack and Davis. Not a fan of Palmer at all but he at least boosts ESPN's diversity stats without having to put a woman in the booth.

Pollack is okay, Davis is great, and Palmer is better than Craig James. So I'm good.

Craig James can go screw himself

He's quite possibly the last person in the world that had any room to talk about the Cam Newton fiasco

My exact feelings. For the really boring games I would have enjoyed Lou Holtz in the booth for quality entertainment. Imagine him free to say whatever he wants for 4 hours on live TV. The drinking games would be endless.

When Lou Holtz is calling games I like to try and see if spit is collecting on the camera lens.

I am not a big fan of David Pollack, but he didn't KILL 5 HOOKERS WHILE AT UGA. That we know of.

I'd take Craig James any day of the week over having both Jesse Palmer & David Pollack in the booth.

Pollack is unbearable, talks too much and to choppily. He's so awful. Homer picks.

It's going to be a competition between him and Palmer to see who can talk the most, when it should be Rece.

Craig James loves Marcus Lattimore, therefore he's a great "analyst"

Palmer and Pollack are essentially the male embodiment of Pam Ward. They are both fricking terrible.

Palmer is the most knowledgeable guy they have left

Davis is pretty cool though. He cracked beers with us on the ramps of the PMAC the night before a basketball game

Pollack just hung out in Coates Hall the whole time he was here

David Pollack KILLED SIX HOOKERS WHILE AT UGA. Allegedly.

ESPN has outdone themselves.

Jesse Palmer is actually pretty decent and probably the most knowledgable of the 3
