if the refs are really so shitty they can't make a correct call with replay they need to be fired.

But between the firings and suspensions due to perceived ineptitude, we may not have enough refs left for the remaining games.

Which may not be a bad thing...

C. And it would have made no difference. I just don't understand why we were throwing the ball then to begin with.

it was probably a pic but C is the correct answer.

Let's see. It has to be indisputable evidence to overturn a call. If you, or anyone other than Stevie Wonder, looks at the film and says that Peterson did not have his foot in bounds(and in college you only need one) with the ball cradled in his arm, then they are a lying sack of shite.

A- a good call--

"Ball Out of Bounds
ARTICLE 3. a. A ball not in player possession, other than a kick that scores a field goal, is out of bounds when it touches the ground, a player, a game official or anything else that is on or outside a boundary line."

Julio is out of bounds when he touches the ball simultaneously with Peterson. Even before Peterson could tuck the ball, the ball was dead.

B, definitely B

I'm convinced the SEC, for being the premier football conference has the WORST officiating. Hands down.

b.) Should have been overturned by video evidence.

Julio touched the ball at the same time Peterson did and he was out of bounds. Dead ball.

It was a hard fought, hardknocking football game. I hate controversial call as much as anyone, but nothing can be gained by further discussion. If we could have stopped Ingram in the second half, we could have possibly won the game. Congrats, good game, time to move on.

Ah, but players can dive for a pylon, be out of bounds, and score a touchdown as long the ball remains in-bounds, even though they're out of bounds. I believe you're misinterpreting that rule.

Sorry Teague, no amount of attempted spin can change what happened. It was yet another in a long parade of horrific blown calls by what are laughingly reffered to as "officials." Ball was Petersons and everyone who isn't willing to lie to themselves and the world knows it.

Clear interception not seen by Ray Charles in the replay booth. End of story.

B.

But that doesn't mean that I think that LSU would have won. Only that we would have at least had a chance to win.

No, I believe you're misunderstanding. A player can't stand out of bounds and dive for a pylon.

Julio's feet were out of bounds when he touched the ball. I don't care if you guys want to hear it or not. It doesn't matter to me. The game is over. Bama won. I'm just trying to educate you.

And Peterson had possession. So by your interpretation of the rule a play should be called dead everytime a running back is running along the sideline and the ball in the RB's possession is touched by a DB who has a foot out of bounds trying to tackle him??

Christ.

B and D.....notice how with that blown call, Bama covered the spread....these loser officials are betting on these games, especially since the economy is down....they have to make money somehow and what easier way than fixing a game
