Agreed, however anything short of OM winning the Natty and I’m afraid some LSU posters are gonna make things tough around here for a few days. Especially on the heels of all the BS trolling in the hours following the SB.

I’ve got OM beating Miami and losing to Indiana in the final.

A great season regardless.

And can anyone explain Indiana? Either they have the next Bear Bryant or some magic dust. Their recruiting doesn’t marry up with how good they are on both sides of the ball. They are rarely if ever caught out of position. And they execute like their lives depend on it. Although I will say they had some luck along the way like when they beat Oregon and Penn State.

You know the Aggies on this board are gonna come running if you talk about measuring dicks?

It’s crazy isn’t it?

I mean even in Coach Saban’s best days, you could count on Bama to have a false start every one in awhile. It’s like these kids are robots. Hell, even their QB sounds like a robot.

One thing is for sure, it’s takes more than talent to go 16-0. You have to catch some breaks along the way. So far, they’ve caught all of them.

Never hated Ole Miss. Maybe because my mother was from Columbia, Ms. and her best friend was from Shaw.

One thing we have watched for 6 years under Kiffin is catching the other team with their britches down. Not every game but most. A receiver or tight end running down the field alone and uncovered. I have yet to see Indiana let anyone open. I hadn’t thought of the word until you said it. Robots.

Cignetti is a famously good evaluator of talent & he produces disciplined teams that play hard. He isn’t getting caught up in dick measuring contests for the splashiest class & actually does his homework + gets guys who are both good and buy in.

It’s important to realize they do not have a talent deficit on offense. That offense is talented as anyone.

He’s not the only coach around operating this way, but it’s still the exception to the norm. Too many of these guys get caught up stargazing whether they admit it or not.
