ha, I had to quickly look up Bama's state flag to remember what it looks like.
No prob, I was kind of embarrassed for not remembering, but from a distance, without your glasses, and with a beach buzz, they look the same.

Hey don't get me wrong, I love night games best, but I don't grimace when I find out we're the 3:30 game. Nine weeks out of ten, that means you are the best game in the SEC that weekend. This is one of CBS doubleheader weekends, so not the case here.
Back to the OP, I did enjoy my experience at the Cocks @ Florida night game in Gainesville last year. Was really quiet leaving the stadium outside of my section. Didn't really interact with Gator fans as they had all left.

I thought it was a night game, did they change it?

ive never had a problem with UF fans in Gainesville or Tuscaloosa.

I'v been to many games there. It's fun but their fans can get a little mouthy. Don't talk shite. A few years back I went to a game and Alabama was up something like 10-0 at halftime and i was talking shite. Florida came back and people 5 and 6 rows over would walk up to me and yell "frick you" and all that mess. I deserved it. It's fun and loud just enjoy yourself. Nobody is gonna fight you or anything like that.

Considering that I actually almost died at birth, this is very offensive to me. Don't hate me because of my signature which is true.. The reason A&M are coming over to the SEC is because your entire football program is about to get the death penalty - ALL IN - frick You. A&M is taking over your shite, raggidy arse spot in the SEC while your coach crawls on the ground trying to finally locate his teeth that have been missing for the past several years.
On a good note I appreciate everybody's "respectable" input about FLORIDA FIELD - I will be god damned before I call it the Swamp. It is Ben Hill Griffin stadium at FLORIDA FIELD

Went to LSU -UF game there last yr. Nice stadium, loud, probably due to the way it's built. WAY too much piped in music, at times it felt like a minor league baseball game atmosphere, I was waiting for on field spin-around-on-a-baseball bat contests. The main drag by the stadium has some good eateries and bars -- lots of scantily-clad coeds to look at, unfortunately also many gel-head Jersey Shore douchers in abundance too. Tailgating on campus did not appear to be robust. A must see: the Tim Tebow plaque commerating "the Vow," I knelt quietly beside it and paid homage.

Last time I was in Gainesville we went to a techno club called Simons after the game and it was insane. I think we stayed at that damn nightclub til 10am Sunday morning...... Damn, that was like 15 years ago I guess.

RammerJammer pretty sure you are the only one to call it BHG stadium at Florida Field. Even the Gator fan on here said it was only a 78% chance Verne would mention "Florida Field" when he stated they were at BHG as the game starts....
All kidding aside, I was told cops ony bother you if you are in the streets with liquor in your cup. As long as you are on the sidewalk with drink in silo you are ok.
It's hard to park near the stadium there, we had to take a super long (half hour) walk to the stadium from parking and I had zero run in with the police. Fans were subdued, course it was Nov in the cold at a night game.

This is as accurate as it gets.

It is a nice stadium. I had no trouble with anyone when going there for LSU game. We invited Florida folks over to our tailgate to eat some fried gator and they stayed and talked Football. One thing I will tell you. Do not try and take any liquor into the stadium they pat down and check just about every fan from LSU . Especially the young guys and older folks that are showing their years and showing that they probably had too many.

-tailgating is spread out all over. there is no giant area next to campus to tailgate
-if you see jorts take a picture and share it here
-like most places drunk students and sidewalk fans are an issue
-i've only seen one fan harassed and the gator that was harassing got an ear full from other gators and his dumb drunk arse moved along
-i'm surprised at the piped in music comment
-cops are indeed a PITA
-have fun

Went to the game last year after we beat them with the fake field goal. I was expecting to hear a lot of junk on the way back to the car. It was practically silent. They were completely stunned that their Gators had fallen from such lofty heights. It was great! I really wanted to mock them their own with the cheer "It's great to be an LSU Tiger!" but I refrained. I had my son with me and as a mom I have to be somewhat of an example! LOL!!

Congrats on beating our worst team in a very long time with a lucky bounce.
On a serious note: Are you surprised the Gators were stunned on that fake field goal play with that bounce?
