mUSChamp will be far more consequential for Bama in years to come than Dandy Dan the Man Mullen.
Ask me why if you must. For most it is obvious. I'll break it down for the obtuse if necessary. Eat a dick in advance for the assclown down-voters incapable of reasoning the obvious.
Before you admit to being a down voting short-sighted fig ... ask me why and not UGA. (Even though the question is really about Mullen and UF)

If you grew watching Alabama in the 90s, you hated those 11:00 am JP Sports kickoffs in Starkville no matter how many times we’d won over the years.

Daniel Mullen might get Florida to Atlanta but they will never win an SEC Championship while Mullen is HC. I’m pretty certain I’m right about that. If I’m wrong though I’ll eat my crow.

Dont think it is happening for a long time. Maybe Georgia has another run in 20 years though. Almost won that elusive title again guys!!!

Also remember him having every resource known to the football world at USC and still failing. He’s such a great coach he’s worked his way all the way to FAU.

Long run I don't think it will. Maybe even the short to mid run it won't either.
Florida is one of the ten or so schools that can reasonably expect to recruit well enough to be a conistent playoff contender.
But Mullen just isn't going to recruit well enough to do that.
I'd say in the SEC alone these schools can do that:
East:
Georgia
Florida
Tennessee (I don't like it, but Middle Tennesee has grown like crazy. If you like linemen in particular this is the place for you. Stupid fricking Rocky Top.
West:
A&M
LSU
Alabama*
*They really do recruit over their head in a lot of ways. That job just isn't as naturally advantageous as say Georgia.
This is the opinion of someone who is totally neutral about the Gators, with neither hate nor love.
But Mullen is one Felipe Franks realizing "Hey I'm Felipe Franks" away from having a bad season.

As already said, you really haven't bern paying attention. Mullen is not a good game day coach. I cannot tell you how many times his team looked totally unprepared for a game. Either getting blown out by a good team, or squeaking out a wet in over UMass, game planning is not Mullen's strength.
He built his reputation on a moral victory against Alabama in 2017, and having MSU at #1 for 5 weeks in 2014. If MSU fans came on here bragging about those events, y'all would tell us those are meaningless accomplishments. But all of a sudden those things make Mullen an elite cosch?

Mullen even with all the mess will still end up with enough talent, just from Florida, to compete for the East. Give him a QB and just a few 4 and 5*s and he'll give Kirby a run for his money every year.
