Playoffs-What Happens

If AU beats UGA and Bama and then beat UGA again in the SECCG (if they also beat A&M next weekend). That would leave the following resume for each team:
AU- SECC at 11-2 with wins against UA and UGA twice, but loses to Clemson and LSU.
UGA-two loses to the same team, but a win over ND. SEC East Champions.
Bama-11-1, but their biggest win will be against a 9-3 MSU or LSU. They do not win either the SEC or their Division.
Does the SEC get left out of the playoffs ?

I do not see Gus beating bama and Uga. I think there’s a chance to upset Uga.

Bama probably gets in like OSU last year

It's possible Auburn could win both. Crazy things happen every week in college football. Not sure how that scenario would work out. Would definitely be interesting!

OSU had beaten OU, Wisc, Nebraska and Michigan. Bama will not have that type of resume under that scenario.

LSU goes to the SECCG

This is a legitimate question the OPis asking. Auburns defense is good enough to beat both Georgia and Bama. The AU offense would have to have zero turn overs and play lights out ball control football to pull it off though. You also must take into account how hard it is to beat the same team twice in the same season. Look at UF - Fla St in 1996 and Bama - LSU in 2011. If Auburn did pull all of that off, I would imagine that Auburn would be in the four team playoff. Bama's schedule would hurt us I'm afraid.

Do your part to help the SEC and lose to Georgia

Yes. Or, Alabama will get the 4th seed in the play-offs.

That scenario would leave the SEC out.

Hmm, let' see.
1 loss big 10 osu or psu IN
1 loss notre dame IN
1 loss acc IN
1 loss big 12 IN
I guess auburn would be the next team in if one of the above gets an extra loss.

Not if Bama is 11-1 with only loss being Auburn.

Then you wake up, clean yourself up from your wet dream and go about living your normal life to Auburns 4-5 loss season.

it is like everything else - depends on what others do
best chance for SEC?
1 loss Bama gets in
possible for SEC to get left out altogether in this scenario as well
a 1 loss ACC champ is in
B1G champ is in
1 loss ND is in
we would need Washington to lose again (probable) AND for every Big 12 team to have 2 losses (seems unlikely)
what we really need is for Miami to beat ND - I doubt that happens though
Notre Dame has Miami; Stamford; Navy & Wake left on the schedule
I just don't see them losing again
NO WAY is a 1 loss OSU or an undefeated Wiscy left out
1 loss OK/OK St/TCU looks solid to get in
ACC has won 2 of the last 4 Natty's and played for 1 more
a 1 loss ACC team; especially Clemson; will not get left out
SEC needs some help to get 2 teams OR a 2 loss team in

I don't see how they take Bama in that scenario? And Auburn looks pretty good becasue those look like two quality losses, but it will depend on the records of the other conference champions.
