i think the argument isn't atlanta's superiority as much as it's equality

What about San Fransisco? Only problem is the new 'Niners stadium will be about an hour and a half from SF itself.

ATL had 87 murders last year. NOLA had 199. Atlanta has a population of 420,000. NOLA has a population of 344,000.

What a lot on here are forgetting is that you're not gonna have from the SECCG till the 8th of Jan. to plan your trip. This game is gonna happen prolly less than 2 weeks after the semi's.

It's not gonna be like a Bowl game with a week long celebration. It's gonna be a last minute thing for prolly 50% of the fans... OH shite, I gotta get my tix, book my flight, book a hotel get there a day or two early at the most. It's gonna be a "business" trip for most. 3 days at the most, in & out....

Nothing like talking in sweeping generalizations. If you seriously don't think New Orleans doesn't offer things Atlanta can't then there isn't a point in me arguing with such stupidity.

Maybe so, but Atlanta offers things that NOLA doesn't as well.

Just put it in BDS the seasons LSU plays Bama at home, and in TS when Bama plays LSU at home. Since they will meet in the title game for a few years, I say do it!

That's the metro area. The city itself has 420,000.

Sure, but I'm also not the one who just said NOLA doesn't offer anything Atlanta can't and then proceed to talk about how New Orleans residents can't admit it's faults when you are the one who seems really, really peeved by someone not liking Atlanta.

It's pretty obvious who's been on the attack in the thread.
