Record doesn’t matter only if you’re Alabama.

It's not like Milroe is all world. He probably would have had 4 picks in the 1st half against Penn State

I think the cold is playing a big role in the score.. not much different than the heat bothering northern teams in September, and we all know that plays a role

The SMU QB shite the bed too..

2 pick 6’s
1 missed TD on opening drive
1 pick inside the red zone

I’m not saying SMU belongs or not.. just saying I think SMU has been better than this, at least in the couple of games I watched.. and the cold is playing a role imo

Buffalo Bills won a lot of AFC Championships in that cold.. only to then lose the Super Bowl over and over

The committee is not going to put in 6-8 SEC teams even if they are the “best”. The rest of CF has to be represented. Accept the fact that you have to be one of the top 3 or 4 SEC teams to get in. Before this year you almost had to be undefeated. FSU didn’t get in undefeated and UGA didn’t get in with a 3 point loss to a top 10 team. This is better than before. There will be “lesser” teams in the playoffs going forward. The SEC is an elimination league.

I think it was more about their style of football than the cold.

Both teams are cold.

And broke Auburn and UGA's dicks off again!

Congrats?

You plan on watching us play on January 1 in the playoffs?

I hope to catch Alabama in their game if I can figure out the date, station and time.

Oklahoma was an anomaly.

Probably. How about Vanderbilt? Anomaly?
Tennessee? Anomaly again?

anomaly
noun
anom·?a·?ly ?-'nä-m?-le
plural anomalies
Synonyms of anomaly
1
: something different, abnormal, peculiar, or not easily classified : something anomalous
They regarded the test results as an anomaly.
2
: deviation from the common rule : irregularity
3
: the angular distance of a planet from its perihelion as seen from the sun

Sure were a lot of anomalies in Alabama football this year. Or maybe Alabama beating Georgia was an anomaly this year. It's all a matter of how you look at it, I guess.

And they beat Georgia #2 team in the country. And went into LSU at night and won by 29.

SMU would lose both of those by 14+.

A team that lost to two 6-6 teams is just as likely to get blown out like Indiana and SMU. Minus well go with the ones that have much better records.

It would ba a road game for Bama. Milroe would stink up the place like he has for most road games.

and in September, both teams are hot.. but it effects the team that isn’t used to it a whole lot more

Not saying it would change the result.. but I’m betting it’d be a better game

Ole Miss Bama and Carolina would all have stomped a mud hole in SMU’s arse.

25 degrees there. I doubt some of those Texas kids have ever played in those temps before.
