It would be different if someone else shared your obviously irrational view of PP's abilities(that he is overrated). Sadly, i see no one but you here arguing this.
I have never said he was "overrated" I have said he has not played at the level of expectations that his hype has generated. Pay attention. Why do you even care so much? It doesn't bother me at all when people like you ramble on an on about how Julio has not played to the level of our expectations of him. PP is basically the same as Julio, a great athlete who has not done enough yet to live up to the expectations that their fans have. Everyone on here who has resorted to name calling or flaming me for this opinion has yet to produce any evidence of PP's (or for that matter Julio's) greatness. Sorry, but it's true.

Absolutely nothing. Comparing a college sophomore to a future NFL HOFer and one of the best to ever play his position just makes you look like a ruhtard.
This. You are seriously reaching bruh. PP aint no Champ, and the fact that you are comparing the two is sort of proving my point.

These are from bailey's junior season and peterson's sophomore season. NOLAtide you are digging your own grave. Notice that Peterson had a few less takles and a few more passes defended. What do you make of that?

same stage of their career, Peterson's not far off. His name is mentioned by everyone as among the elite after his soph year, same as Champ.

Where does it say that Champ was never caught biting coverage and getting beat deep, while Peterson did so every other game? I see you convenietly left that off.

He shut down AJ Green AND Julio Jones. Two of the best wideouts in the SEC and Country for that matter. AS A SOPHOMORE..

But, according to LSU fans, Julio is overrated and sucks.

That's right Chick. I love how PP "shut down" Julio even though Julio made his arse quit.

I didn't read the whole thread but did anyone mention Tito Horford. He was supposed to be what Shaq was before Shaq's time. His son, Al, ended up being a much better player.

fail

peterson cramped up from playing almost an entire game of football with the flu not because julio made him quit.

next time you have the flu try running around for 30 minutes and see if you dont catch a cramp

This.
Dude was probably the most talented and athletic LB's I have ever seen. If he had lived up to his potential he wouldn't have just been good he could have been great.

I vote to Ban everyone who participates in the Julio/Peterson bullshite.

Nola Tide is right Julio and Peterson are the exact same freaking player playing different positions. Both rated #1 at their postions out of highschool. Both are true sophs and have not reached their full potential.

Saying Peterson is the best is based on potential not play on the field because his has been inconsistent.

It's the same with Julio saying he is this or that is based on potential because his production hasn't match his physical gifts.

They will both eventually be the best if the progress and leave it at that.

I gonna get Dre to pimp slap the next person that says anything negative about either of them.
