Except no one has said Bama is the only team that can do that or the only one with depth. I mentioned LSU as another example.
I'm not trying to prop up Bama here. I'm disagreeing with the entire premise of your thread. Not every program has a "Player your team absolutely cannot afford to lose." Last year I would have said McCarron. This year I don't see anyone on Bama's roster who fits that category. We have stars who would be hard to replace, but no individual that would drastically derail a season.
Now, if Coker comes out looking like a stud and Sims is horrible, then yea, Coker would be your answer. But no one knows that right now.

You are just really slow if you think that one single injury will derail the entire season. That premise is only true for a handful of programs in the SEC. Alabama is not one of them.

That wasn't my point. I didn't mean that there were other teams that could. I'd say every fanbase but UA would name a key player that would hinder their season's outcome if they went down.
