Crazy that y’all are already entering the nostalgia phase like 6 days after Saban retired. Oof

This is what you get when you recruit nation-wide and pass over in-state guys. Alphonse Taylor is from Alabama, so playing for the Tide had more meaning to him.

That’s myopic - we shouldn’t have recruited Mark Ingram?

You guys were nostalgic for the 2019 team as soon as the clock reached 0 in the title game.

Your fans babbling about stupid shite doesn’t hit nearly as hard when your coach is an NAIA reject who isn’t going to sniff the top half of the SEC next year. The entire state of Alabama is about to be sitting on their porches talking about the glory days while the entire SEC west runs a train on your D2 coaching staff

Well, then, you guys should be ecstatic you'll no longer need to dick ride other teams.

May want to check on Amazon's return policy for all that Texas and Michigan merch you guys bought this year.

Lol. I didn’t know what you were referring to for a second because I forgot Alabama even made the playoffs with the way y’all were run out of the stadium in the semi’s. It’s ok though, Gus Orgeron-DeBoer will definitely get y’all back there after every 5 star on your roster left in a 3 day span

Well, you tried your hand at trolling.

You failed, terribly so, but there's something to admire in at least putting forth the effort.

That's not what I said at all. It's a case-by-case basis and not an all or none scenario. This goes for every school, a large percentage of guys they recruit from a different region of the country are not going to have a connection to that school unless they make some kind of impact like Mark Ingram did.

From a P5 coach at a well-known program….

“The first thing a kid asks is what kind of NIL package we can offer, which of course, I can’t answer. But, if that’s not premium, it’s a nonstarter. The second thing they ask is how we’ll feature them in our system. Many don’t even ask about winning anymore.”

This is BS, by the way. Coaches are routinely discussing compensation with players’ agents.

Jesus, dude. No one is complaining about the transfer portal. We've had a shitload of players transfer out before. How the frick do you think you guys got Aaron Anderson. We're complaining that it can be open for only one school and 130 teams are bidding on players from one goddamn roster.

That's not true. It took us a few months to realize O had run the thing into the ground.

It's not that crazy. You've never experienced this much sustained success so we don't expect you to understand
