Line keeps moving more in favor of the Vols aka the real UT.
I wish we were underdogs headed into this game for betting reasons. Might parlay it with Bama covering the spread against Texas to increase my payout.

West Virginia is a projected 500 percent win team this year and was mediocre last year.
Pitt was much more dangerous last year with what was arguably the best QB to WR combo in college football and they only barely beat us because Milton started the first half and over threw a few wide open recievers for what would have been easy TD passes.

Agreed. As long as Hooker doesn't overthink things which he tends to do at times and just plays loose fun football, we win by multiple TDs.
Hooker has the ability to be the best QB in the nation but i have noticed one flaw in his game. He tends to tighten up at times and when he does, his passes lose a lot of accuracy. He has even admitted to this in some of his interviews. He is actually a very cerebal QB who tends to overanalyze things.
I noticed when he takes off with the ball a few times and gets first downs, makes a few plays with his legs, his body language takes on a much different more confident demeanor. I would like to see them roll him out of the pocket a few times his first series of the game.

Had Hooker started, we would have taken a three score lead in the first half imo and coasted from there.

It was very hard to guage our defense against ball state.
They looked a bit underwhelming at times but we always played a very vanilla zone coverage defense most of the game. I expect a lot more man coverage and designed blitzes this weekend.

Agreed. They return their entire O-line and 2 running backs. They also have a D-line that can get penetration and disrupt rhythm.
I think we should win but will need the defense and O-line to play well.
It's not going to be the slam dunk a lot of Vols think.

This game is far from a gimme. I'd say Vols have a 60% chance of just winning.
