If Burrow had A&M's 2019 or 2008 line he would have a broken back.

LSU's line gave up one more sack than A&M's did in 2019.

But your comparison isn’t valid because we are comparing QB’s.

Also, it sounds like you agree with me ??????

Not really, Watson's best season didnt hold a candle to Burrow's and Burrow faced much tougher competition.

Over 2 more games. Mond got maybe a 1 step drop before he had a defender in his face.

A&M had probably the weakest lineman (offensive or defensive) in the SEC playing center last season.

LSU threw it 115 more times.

Also hard to see how many times each QB ran away from pressure as opposed to intentional runs.

Watson was great but I have more confidence in Burrow to not turn the ball over in a National Championship setting.

But kinda ;-)

It’s ok Sidewalk, you seem like a reasonable person. I know if you totally agree you might lose your purple and gold card.

I'm just saying LSU's line wasnt lights out better than A&M's and even with those numbers, there was likely no one better at elluding sacks in 2019 than Burrow.

Whatever makes you feel better about getting that arse kicked on national TV.

We all know Goldilocks is overrated anyway.

It was at every position except for right guard.

Watson had 7 Td’s to 1 int against 2 of the best defenses ever.

But it’s not a totally invalid point.

I still think Watson clutchness and big plays would have put Clemson over the top last year.

We were told TLaw would throw all over LSU's shite defense then both he and Etienne would run all around and thru it while the mighty Clemson defense made Burrow eat turf all day.

Now its, muh if we'd have had Deshaun we might couldve won.

He has potential, but I don’t disagree with you there.

Haha. Well, I don’t talk like that, (at least I don’t think I do) but yeah, that’s what I’m saying.

And I think you kind of agree.

Go Tigers!

If you took Joe Burrow away from Joe Brady, and put him on Clemson’s teams that played Bama the first two times, do you think Clemson wins either of those games?

I’d have to say no.

Also, do you think Deshaun Watson would start over Dwayne Haskins at Ohio St?

No doubt about it.

Alabama's 2015 and 2016 defenses were really good; but they weren't even Alabama's own top 3 in the past 10 years.

That's 2011, 2012, and 2017.
