Imagine if the SEC put half as much effort into fixing their officiating problem as they have into identifying VOLS fans throwing trash

How he doesn't have golf ball dimples and mustard stains on a weekly basis is beyond me.

Is there any ref more universally regarded as either corrupt or incompetent in today's game?

Brad Van Vaark from the Big 12. He's the one who infamously celebrated a t.u. touchdown in the 2005 Big 12 title game.

Holy shite. He was the ref during the game? No wonder it was a shite show. That sumbitch must know where some bodies are laying as to why he is still officiating.

Yep. When the commentators were asking about what authority he had to end the game early, part of me was hoping he would try it to see if he lived through the weekend.

Who is the horn ref that did the last A&M vs tu game that threw that weak sauce flag at the last minute of the game to give them a chance to kick the field goal to win the game?!

J Taylor was a line judge. Not the same as a ref who demands to be on camera.

Guessing every conference has their version. Some just suck at their job, but less than the other available options. Others, as you reference, for whatever reason demonstrate bias that is clear and repeated. Why the conference doesn't deal with that is beyond me, unless they were a willing participant.

Penn Wagers was brought up in one of these threads who was another SEC clown.

Yes he was the only reason Texas lost.

He was only one of a few honest Big 12 refs.

Taylor literally went on texags and taunted Aggies before and after the game then disappeared completely when he was outed.

Really?

I always thought an honest ref in the old SWC and then the B12 was sorta like

Don’t think so, but they were the same crew that did the Memphis/Miss State game

Wilbur Hacket Jr. Was a Parade All American in high school and played linebacker at Kentucky in the 60's. Old Cat still knows how to deliver a blow.

Although in his defense Stephen Garcia was very punchable.

I've seen the replays. They got the last offensive play by UT correct, he was short of the first down marker. Don't know about the other play because the only replay I can find is low quality. Looks like he was down before the fumble.

In any event, Tennessee fans showed what they are made up with the booing when Corral went down with an injury and throwing all of the stuff. I'd be embarrassed if I were a Tennessee fan but it seems that nothing embarrasses you.
