He had a great play in HS where he alley-ooped the ball from the back of the endzone for a td to his teammate. Good player.
Do you know who was his head coach his senior year of high school?

Dude's a beast I hope Loefeller(sp) uses him to the to his full extent. Lutz deserves more passes.

How was my post random? It relates to the thread perfectly.
And if you meant to reply to the OP, yes it was a random thread just like the majority of the threads on the SECr.

Agreed good player....in the mold of Antonio Gates and Dallas Clark....super athletic but not tall TE's who have both faired very well in their careers. All the tools to be a good TE I think in the NFL

He grew up next to one of my good friends in HS. Kid was good at basketball at like 10 years old, would be playing with us 17-18 year olds.

That pass in High School was thrown by Hutson Mason (Georgia Backup)

And he's one hell of a good guy. We met him last year and he gave my son (10 yrs old) a ton. My son told him he plays football like he does and Lutz took the time to show interest in him and even gave him some pointers on blocking and really built him up. It was less than 5 minutes of his time but he put this little boy on cloud 9 and made a lifelong #43 fan out of him and me both.
