raw arm talent

Arm strength and arm talent are different things, and that doesn't even account for the cerebral side of what makes a great QB.

You think Beck can replace Stetson? I seriously have my doubts. Most hyped up UGA QBs end up dissapointing it seems.

Its hard to replace that grandpa understanding and old man strength, but I think UGA will be better off. Beck looks to be a stud, though less scrambling ability.

QB units

Even though neither QB started a game, they are way better than #42. All three are experienced and well coached.

2. R-So. Brock Vandagriff 2021 5* Natl 17, 6'3 205

This will be an interesting season for OU because we have the 2022 Elite 11 MVP coming in as a true freshman. Will he be able to knock out last year's OU quarterback and take over during the season? Not likely, but possible.

Whatever the case, Jackson Arnold will be OU's starting QB in their first year in the SEC. The guy is a gamer, smart, and mobile. Some say a hybrid of Burrow and Mayfield.

Do garbage time reps (very limited reps at that) multiple reality? A handful of pointless reps against beaten teams are not impressive

Danny Sheridan was the king of this. His predictions were no better than what a monkey could do throwing darts at a board.

This is some basic shite, but let’s go ahead and blow your mind:

Backups don’t get to pass as often as starters do.

As a backup, Beck had more passes than Milton did.

35 attempts last year and 23 attempts last year? Vs 82 attempts, 62, and 152 at Michigan…

Go back to soccer slick.

Of course you don’t realize you are including Milton’s starter reps in a discussion about backup reps.

Does Dan Enos still have the weird voodoo magic he worked on Brandon Allen? Because Allen went from quite possibly the worst Arkansas starting QB (to last past a game or two) to one of the best who ever suited up for the Hogs.

If he can fine tune KJ then yes, Arkansas will be exceptionally dangerous at the QB position. The big question will be can Jefferson stay healthy with his extremely physical style of play? He was dinged up a lot last season and it really hurt the Razorbacks all year.
