Barring an injury or a bad post-Bonnaroo acid trip for Trevor Lawrence, Clemson is winning either the next 2 or 3 national championships. Y'all can all check back in '21 or '22.

What really struck me about the title game aside from the score is how unbelievably, almost indescribably UN-alabama things went for them. They moved the ball up and down the field all night with not a whole lot of trouble. Clemson had 50 more passing yards about 10 less rushing yards, it's not like the overall yardage was lopsided. But all the characterstics of a saban coached team over the last decade completely disappeared, all in one game. Multiple interceptions, bad QB reads, terrible throws and decision making, head scratching playcalls, ridiculous fake attempts, etc. Just about every close game bama has had recently there's a play or 2 that they make to turn the game in their favor, this game they pretty much did everythign wrong they could possibly do, aside from move the ball between the 25s.

I'm not saying clemson won't be good or anythign like that, but if people think that game was the norm I think they're mistaken.

Phil is losing it in his old age. He totally butchered his spelling of Auburn a few times in that article.

Clemson - Lock, ACC is weak and their schedule is a joke.
SEC Champ - Lock, undefeated
After that, throw in Michigan, Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma, Ohio State
SEC Runner up, 1 loss
