I will bet you dollars to donoughts that at years end LSU Oline will be in the discussion as a top 5 unit in the SEC

I mean that's very possible, maybe even probable, but it is certainly different than "wouldn't trade them for any O-line in the league".

That's fine, just kind of strange given the raw nature of the roster in a year where veterans are being replaced by guys with no experience or scattered experience in blowouts or spot starts.

I bookmarked this so I can say i told ya so

Congrats Nancy. You said you wouldn't trade LSU for anyone on the list acting like they were the best and now you're backing down saying top 5.

Started 3 games but rotated in the others. I can see talking to you is pointless at this point and we will have this discussion again when I bump this thread at the end of the season

No.

We return 1 full time starter from last year (Deculus), but also return Ingram who split snaps at LG, to the point he played a few hundred snaps last year. He also was a full time starter back in 2017, missed the 2018 season.

Also return Rosenthal who got 3 starts at LT and played a few hundred snaps himself last season. Throw in Shanahan who seems likely to take over center, as he was a starter at Harvard for 3 years, but not a starter "here".

I see the argument for saying we have 2 returning "starters" at most, considering Ingram was a full time starter back in 2017, and played a lot last year. Rosenthal just got some good experience and while Shanahan started it wasn't here, but another school.

Either way, the line is still shaping up to be pretty decent, especially if what they say about Bradford is true at RG being a 3 and done guy.

His LSU bio says he started three and played in 5 total. And you're counting him as a returning starter

Nobody is arguing with thunderbird, his analysis was factual and seemed to make perfect sense. Not a ton of experience but the makeup to have a pretty solid o-line.

You told us LSU returned 4 starters

You have to provide actual facts for it to be an argument. You keep pulling shite out of your arse and trying to pass them off as the truth.

Thats great but thunderbird corrected you

He showed how you can be positive about a situation with actual facts and not be a homer

Using that criteria other schools have 6-7 returning starters.

Just strange, that's all.
