Will Campbell should have a spot in that OL.

Going to be difficult to beat a team with 12 players. Good luck

Ainias Smith had 800+ total yards his Soph and junior year, before getting hurt early last year.

I’m not saying he deserves to be on this list, but he doesn’t get the attention he deserves.

He starts at LT but could play elsewhere.

I love seeing all the UGA... but Mims and Lovett are a little bit of a stretch.

Lovett was great at Mizzou, but I feel a little odd putting him ahead of McConkey given what he's done while at UGA.

Mims will be very good, but he was a reserve last year. Putting him on a pre-season list seems like it disrespects guys who started last year.

Lovett isn't a stretch at all.
He was 1st team All SEC in 2022.

Reports have him tearing up the UGA secondary (both in receptions and YAC).

He could have more yards than Bowers this upcoming year (i.e. a lot of the running back receptions may come his way).

Mims wasn't reserve last season.
He platooned. He would come in with the first team on the 3rd series. No different than how we used Broderick Jones, Jamaree Salyer, and other 5 star linemen who waited their turn.

I can understand another right tackle getting the spot ahead of him. But that right tackle should have been perfect in November/December/January because Mims was. I think he had 1 official pressure.

Think he was the freshman OT at LSU. He was good, no doubt, but going against two upperclassmen .....

I believe both Lovett and Mims will be awesome for UGA.

I just think pre-season lists should probably have guys who started for their current team listed in general. I'd rather see McConkey over Lovett and a starter from last year over Mims on a list like this.

Lots of people realized Jarvis Jones was going to be awesome for UGA after transferring and sitting out a year. But he wasn't on any pre-season lists (and shouldn't have been). I kind of think those lists should be about guys who already showed what they are. I don't think Jayden Daniels will be the best QB in the SEC this year... but he's the best returning guy so belongs on these lists.

I think you are in the minority.

Tyler Booker started 1 game last season. The bowl game against Kansas St. Yet a Bama fan thinks he should be in over other guards. If he had fewer pressures and sacks in November, December, January, I could see myself agreeing with him.
Tate Ratledge was very good for us last season. Great at season's end (coming off the lysfranc surgery isn't easy).

Again...
Lovett was All Conference in 2022.
I don't see the argument for McConkey.
Against UGA, Lovett had 6 catches for 84 yards.

Hot take alert-

Lovett will break Terrence Edwards single season record of 1004 receiving yards. Dude has been unguardable in 7v7 and informal summer workouts.

If Jayden could stay healthy, I think that roster could break records and go 15-0. I don't hate the list.
