SEC POY awards

I knew he would be up there for DPOY but did not think he would beat out Fairley.

This is the Coaches Player of the year.

I am sure that most of the SEC coaches did not appreciate the way that Fairley was driving QB's in the ground and appeared to be intentionally attempting to hurt QB's.

Coaches arent gonna rewward that type of behavior.

You noticed Chiz was not elected coach of the year in the SEC and went undefeated. Probably had a little to do with mistrust created by the Cam situation.

I wish I could see the voting for those. I know lattimore deserves the FOTY award, but I bet Murray got him some votes too.

You can give the award to anybody, but everybody knows who deserves it.

I'm not taking anything away from PP, he's a good player, but he had nowhere near the season Fairley had. I'm glad though I hope all players get snubbed all off-season long. Our guys have played pretty well with a chip on their shoulder so far this season.

Trying to remember Peterson getting "burnt" this season...sure, Julio had some good catches against him but they were perfectly passed balls and Peterson was right there...every corner gives up some passes but he pretty much took one side of the field away almost every game...most teams just completely avoided him

Yep. Fairley was a nobody before the season started and decided to make a name for himself by being the dirtiest player in the SEC. Mission accomplished. Job well done.

Says the guy with Mark Barron on his team. Now there is a crispy critter for ya. He really sucks.
