The reason why Lane left is because he is a narcissist and he is self serving and lsu promised to stroke lanes ego and serve lane. They have elevated this fraud above their own brand.

Every time I see him and his staff and his players I just see a group of people who care nothing for each other. All there to serve themselves.

It’s a soulless program. Satan’s favorite team.

This is the melt of the broken.

So, you're just here to talk shite instead of talking about Pete Golding's resume as the subject entails.

You didn't have the depth needed to be a real contender, much like LSU this year.

You don’t even have the starters to beat Kentucky.

I agree with pretty much all of this.

Correct

I’d want to see him keep at least some of the offensive success next year and be able to evaluate/recruit a QB on his own.

He's already brought in Deuce Knight and has two good HS QBs committed. Keegan Croucher being the best. So, he seems to be doing well in this aspect. Not claiming that any of them are on the same level as Chambliss though.

He also needs to develop a cohesive defensive unit instead of a bunch of individuals. He probably needs to simplify his defense a bit but all of that is admittedly hard in the new era of CFB.

As I said, he needs to hire an actual DC. My vote is to bring in Aranda once Baylor fires him.

I’m defending his resume.
Are you here to white knight for lsu fans shitting on your coach?

Wild statement.

DL - Kam Franklin (5 TFL, 2.5 sacks), Zxavian Harris (32 tackles, 4.5 TFL, 1.5 sacks), Akelo Stone, Jam Brown
LB - TJ Dudley (76 tackles, 4.5 TFL, 2 Sacks), Khari Coleman (45 tackles)
Chris Graves (Mizzous CB1), Brandon Turnage
SS - Yam Banks, Louis Moore (went back to Indiana to start at Safety and win the natty the following year)

So how exactly did Lane ruin it for this super team?

Apparently, your 2024 team didn't either.

He lost to 4-8 Kentucky because he was stalking his ex girlfriend the week of the game. You already know this retard.

What was his excuse for losing to Kentucky this season? Not enough NIL?

All you are doing is bitching about Kiffin.

I don't really give a shite what they think. It has no bearing whatsoever on Pete as the Ole Miss head coach.

You've always said Pete was running the team anyway, what happened?

I definitely said Pete Golding has more top 10 wins in 9 games than Kiffin has in 16 seasons.

Everyone conveniently ignored that fact.

It's quite true, no one knows anything yet and probably won't for another year or two.

Perhaps Kiffin was right to leave, perhaps he was part of the problem. Maybe Pete is some GOAT, who knows?

By that logic, BK destroyed Kiffin in his first season, and Kiffin had already been in Oxford for two years.

Also, Sumrall broke it off in you this year.

Ed O was 2-0 vs Kirby.

Head to head matters very little, except to emotional and overreactionary people like youself.

Y'all were correct with some of the concerns with Frank Wilson as RB coach. I will give you that. Seems to be improving though. I think we just needed a few games under our belt for this staff to mesh.

Yes we know. That’s why we are laughing at you. You paid Brian Kelly a $50M buyout to hire a guy Brian Kelly blew out. Because you are stupid.

Agreed. Consulting with Venables to see if calling plays as HC would be doable turned out to be a bad idea.
Aranda is a great DC but his defenses take awhile to get going because of their complexity as well. He’s done better at adjusting his systems but he’s also started to recruit to fit his system as well. More developmental/smarter guys and less mercenary types
