When Lane wanted something to circulate nationally, Chris is who he went through. For this, Chris usually got great access for stories. Ole Miss wasn't the reason for this. Chris was the one Lane went through to break the story that he wasn't going to Auburn in 2022.
First, it was that the narrative was made up and no one actually reported it. That's disproven so now it's that Chris was wrong/biased. I've tried to avoid these topics the last few months because they're so cyclical and predictable. Probably in everyone's best interest to move on because you are certainly dug in. It's such an odd topic for LSU fans to be obsessed with anyways. Half the time you celebrate the fact that you're "the bad guy" and the other half, you exert so much effort trying to prove Lane was good and innocent. It doesn't matter anymore. In a few months, he will be on the LSU sidelines coaching LSU in a game and the fact he gave his staff an ultimatum doesn't matter.

Well no, it was said that it was an unsubstantiated report.
You've said that Lane was Low's source on everything. Why would Lane want it aired out that he gave the coaches an ultimatum when it looked like no one was going with him?
None of that makes sense.

Pickett will be taking Delane's spot I believe. He was the #1 corner in the country IIRC, he'll be a true sophomore and played a lot as a freshman so we'll see.

It's interesting that Matt Moscona says Golding is full of shite when he says he never considered LSU. Moscona says that Golding made calls to NFL coaches to inquire about interest in them perhaps joining his staff at LSU, should he make the jump.
