He's like any hardcore fan.. Nothing's ever good enough. Probably focusing what should happen onto someone that he can't control, because in reality, he could never tie the person's shoe strings.

BM (I just sorta half to chuckle at that ) is the rants version on DD. I have met the guy in person and I just don't get his on line persona. Its like his dog gets run over every week win or lose

See, this is the problem. Alabama fans are content with having a sluggish, boring offense. It's been drilled into them since the '92 NC. Yes, McElwain and McElroy is a better combo than JPW and Applewhite. So what? McElwain and McElroy are still extremely mediocre at what they do. There's a ton of talent on this team on offense and they're holding this team back. I'm pissed off watching a WR like Julio getting wasted running nothing but five yard routes and catching a bunch of WR screens. I'm pissed off watching this team struggle moving the ball through the air even though the offensive line is pretty solid and the wide receivers are better than average. I'm pissed off watching this team struggle in the red zone with the best running game in America, be completely incapable of converting on third and long and fail to sustain drives consistently whenever we go up against SEC competition. I'm pissed off at all the fans defending McElroy and McElwain when this team has underachieved immensely on offense in relation to its talent level. That's why I'm very angry. If that makes me a negative fan, then so be it.

I feel you brah. I don't give a shite about any of it but I feel you.

For as long as I can remember, the back up QB at Bama has always been the most popular player on the team. Everyone at one time or another is on the current QB's arse about the way he plays or played.

I'm happy with Greg, I think he has done a fine job at QB. We can't win every game every year. Some of these fans are just fricking idiots.

You nailed it. If the internet would have been around the last 50 yrs. I'm sure you would have seen this kind of drivel posted about Bart Starr, Joe Namath, and Ken Stabler.

It does. Alabama football = pound the rock, play D. Always has been, probably always will be. If you want a passing offense, cheer for The Barn.

USC just played a better game, and Saban wants to toss out the "everyone has to play better and be committed"

Hey Coach, you just lost to a better team that day, get over yourself..

McElroy is a smart kid, and he knows he's not "that guy" as a QB -- and he's said as much over and over.

When McCarron starts next year and starts throwing interceptions and making rookie mistakes(which he will), people will have threads entitled: "Can't wait for the Sims era", McCarron a bust", Miss McElroy...".
