The absolute truth of the matter is............Bruce had a harder time building Auburn up in bbball than saban and Kirby have had building up UA and UGA football. Both school's already had football success long before they got there. Auburn's bball history could be written in one short paragraph before Bruce.

Never understood UGAs mentality in BB. You would think they have everything in place to be ultra-successful, but they refuse to try. It starts with facilities and then a coach, but they just keep going thru the motions. I used to say the same about Auburn, until Jay Jacobs decided to build AA. The same situation happened with AU Swimming.

Yes that was smart of you to do a post season ban last year when you had no chance of making the tournament. You were 13-14. Post season ban or not a losing record doesn’t even get you into the NiT. I know Auburn is new to this basketball thing
Saban wouldn’t leave Bama because they are the best program all time.
Auburn isn’t even the best all time basketball program in their state, not even top 75 all time programs. Comparing it to Saban and Bama football is insane. No titles. One final 4. Comparing Bama football to your basketball program is a joke.
If Kentucky wanted Pearl right now they would take him.

AGAIN.........I wasn't comparing the programs. I was comparing the coaches to the needs and success of the program. But it is obvious you are too stupid to get the comparison.
Why would any HC in any sport, at a top conference school, build the success of that program to the heights they have and then leave?
As far as "historical"........that doesn't mean a damn thing. Compare Auburn to the rest of the SEC the last five years, because that is all that matters in todays relative terms.

Just admit that your school screwed up with about a 4th or 5th choice hire for a football coach and now you want to brag about the basketball program.....

Harsin may or not be the right guy. If he's not he will be replaced in a year or two.

Pearl may be headed to the NBA after the season. This is a man who needs to be challenged, and hes already built a bottom dwelling perennial doormat of a program into a solid regular season team. Pearl can't claim to be the best if he's never coached in the league. Sorry Tiggerz Bruce is probably gone
